Chapter 1134 In Cahoots
Madison and Emily saw Scarlett tumbling down the stairs and were so shocked they almost screamed. They both tried to reach out and pull her back, but it was too late.
They stood at the top of the stairs, at a loss for what to do.
Madison immediately questioned, "You, why did you push her?"
"I pushed her?" Emily retorted instantly, "It wasn't me who pushed her, it was clearly you. I was just trying to help you, don't pin this on me."
The two of them were on the verge of turning on each other.
Madison realized the seriousness of the situation. She couldn't afford to argue with Emily at this moment. Arguing about who pushed Scarlett down would only be counterproductive.
"Emily." Madison grabbed her hand, "What's done is done. We need to cover this up, or we're finished. We're teammates now, so don't let anything slip."
Emily wiped the cold sweat from her forehead, "So what do we do now?"
Madison thought for a moment and said, "Remember, we heard a noise and came out to check, only to see her falling down the stairs. It has nothing to do with us, got it?"
"Yeah, yeah." Emily nodded vigorously, "Got it."
So, the two of them agreed to cover up the incident.
Whether it was Emily or Madison who pushed Scarlett down the stairs no longer mattered.
They were both involved.
Emily was still uneasy, "Madison, but what if she doesn't die? She's just unconscious now. What if she wakes up and tells someone?"
"Well..." Madison was also very scared, "Yeah, what if she tells? Damn it, at her age, if she fell down the stairs, she should just die."
Emily said, "We need to come up with a plan. If she wakes up and tells, what do we do? We should just deny it and say she has dementia and is hallucinating."

"So what do we do now?" Emily said, "We can't just kill her, can we?"
Emily suddenly saw a murderous glint in Madison's eyes and was shocked, "You wouldn't really kill her, would you? But do we even have the chance?"
Madison gritted her teeth and said, "No matter what, Scarlett can't wake up and expose us. Emily, remember, we're in this together now. Whatever we do, we have to stick together. If this gets out, we're both done for, got it?"
Emily nervously swallowed, "Got it, I got it."
After making their plan, they left.
Isabella, hiding nearby, waited until they were gone. She watched their backs with a cold smile.
So it was Madison and Emily who caused Scarlett to fall down the stairs.
This just got more interesting.
Madison avoided Emily and found Eason.
It had always been Eason who gave her advice from behind the scenes. They had a special way of communicating.
Seeing Eason, Madison was very emotional, "You have to help me."
