Chapter 664 A Little Fierce
Ava was on edge. "What game do you want to play? Please don't hurt my child."
The man slowly approached her, lowering his head and gently placing his hand on her slightly swollen belly. "Your child, or Alexander's child?"
"It's my child, and it's his child too," Ava said. "No matter what, the child is innocent. Please don't hurt it."
"You really care about this little one?" The man chuckled softly. "Then why haven't you told Alexander that you're pregnant?"
'He seems to know everything. Could he be someone living around me or Alexander?' she thought.
But who exactly was he? Ava couldn't figure it out.
"What's wrong? You don't dare to tell him? How about I break the news when he comes over?"
"Did you contact him?" Ava immediately asked.
"Look at your eyes. You want him to come, don't you?"
The man leaned in, his black mask swaying in front of her eyes, which was terrifying.
Ava turned her head to the side. "He's already married to the other woman. There's no point in looking for him. You should just give up."
"Is that so? Since you've said that, I really want to give it a try."
As he spoke, the man took out a phone from his pocket and dialed a number.
The call was quickly answered. "Hello."
The man put it on speaker, and Ava clearly heard Alexander's voice.
"Is that you?"
A flicker of confusion crossed Ava's eyes.
At this moment, the man spoke, "Mr. Mitchell, hello."
Hearing the voice, Alexander immediately asked, "How is Ava now? Is she still safe? Name your terms, just let her go."
From Alexander's words, Ava knew that Alexander was aware that she had been kidnapped.
'How did he know?
'Didn't this psycho contact someone from the Bennett family? Could it be that this man in front of me told Alexander?' Ava thought.
It was obvious that this was the case.
"Are you going to stay silent forever? Then what's the point of capturing Ava?"
"Alexander, I got a question for you. Answer me."
"What question?"
"Ava doesn't seem to believe that you'll come for her. She told me you are already married to the other woman."
"I've canceled the wedding," Alexander immediately replied. "I'll do whatever you want, just let Ava go."
"From what you're saying, you're really worried about your ex, huh? You even canceled your wedding for her. Don't you care about your fiancée's feelings at all? Sounds a bit like a jerk move."
"Stop talking nonsense. What exactly do you want?" Alexander couldn't help but shout.
"You're getting aggressive again," the man said, feigning being aggrieved. "In that case, I'll hang up now."
"Don't hang up," Alexander hurriedly said. "What do you want me to do?"
His tone softened, clearly suppressing his anger.
"Hahaha," the man laughed. "You gave in so quickly. Aren't you supposed to be tough?"
Alexander said, "I'm not as tough as you. Ava is in your hands now."
"So, you're willing to do anything for her?"
"That's right. Anything, as long as you let her go."
"That's a bit difficult. I don't really want to let her go. After all, it wasn't easy to catch her. How about this, I'll have a chat with her husband. After all, you're just her ex. It's not really your place to save her, right?"
