Chapter 460 Unrestrained in speech.

This scene pierced Alexander's eyes. "Who is laying hands on whom exactly? Ava, how come I didn't know you had so many male friends, and that you were so close to them? You are truly a master of deception. Everything before was a facade, making me believe that I was the one at fault. In reality, you have been cheating behind my back! How many lovers do you really have?"

Alexander, in a fit of anger, spoke without restraint, his heart now consumed by a raging blaze of fury.
"You are being excessive." Eason mustered the courage to stand in front of Ava. "How could you speak to Ava in such a manner? You are to blame for her pain and tears. How could you be so malevolent?"

Suddenly, Alexander laughed, "Ava, how many men have you found to comfort you? It seems like you're telling the whole world about us to those men!"

Seeing the sarcasm in Alexander's eyes, Ava's heart felt like it was torn in two.

It seemed, in his eyes, she had become the kind of person who played both sides.

Ava found herself unable to cry or laugh, just found him ridiculous.

He could never figure out what kind of person Isabella was.

Yet, just because another man spoke up for Ava, he believed she was that kind of person!

Ava remarked sarcastically, "Alexander, how dare you boast about your trust in me? So, this is what you called belief. Such a revelation! I once found you amusing, but now, you make me feel nauseated!"

Finally, her feelings towards this man, from deep love, heartbreak, and disappointment, turned into disgust!

So, this was what her decade-long love for him had come to!

Alexander's expression crumbled in an instant. "Disgust?"

Just as he was about to pull Ava over, Eason firmly stood in her way. "Do not touch Ava. You are a scoundrel, unworthy of her. Fortunately, she has married someone else. I believe you are simply..."

"Get away from me!" Alexander lost control, punching him in the face!

"Ah!" Eason exclaimed, falling to the ground.

Vicky was startled, quickly going to help him. "Are you okay?"

Eason touched the corner of his mouth, feeling a hint of blood oozing out. He curled up like a wounded puppy, looking pitiful.

"Alexander!" Ava slapped him hard. "You've gone too far!"

Alexander wiped his face with his fingers, a stinging sensation lingering. He coldly harrumphed. "You always hit me for other men. When have I ever laid a finger on you? Yet you allow other men to slander me."

"Haven't you laid a finger on me? What did you do to me yesterday? Alexander, I simply chose not to hold you accountable, or else..."

Ava didn't finish her sentence. What she meant to say was already apparent.

She stepped forward and, together with Vicky, helped Eason up. "Are you alright? Does it hurt?"

Her hand gently touched Eason's injured face. "It's okay. Don't be afraid. I will protect you."

Vicky was also confused about the current situation, unsure who Eason was.

At that moment, several uniformed officers approached.
"Excuse me, are you Ava?"

Ava nodded. "Yes."

The officer said, "So, regarding William's case, we are currently investigating and have a few questions for you."

Ava nodded. "Okay, go ahead."

"Before William's incident, do you know where he went?"

Ava shook her head. "I don't know."

"Do you know if he had any enemies?"

Ava looked at Alexander with angry eyes.

Subsequently, Ava addressed the officer, "Before William encountered trouble, he had a dispute with Alexander. They got into a fight, and Alexander even informed me at the time that this matter was not over. The next day, William got into trouble."
