Chapter 866 Learning a Ton
In a flash, two months had zipped by since Sunny popped into the world.
Ava was pretty much back to her old self.
She'd been hanging out in Stellaria for almost half a year now.
Even before Sunny showed up, Ava wasn't just sitting around.
She hit up some pro training courses for finance folks.
These classes were all about cramming in useful finance stuff fast and making connections with other pros.
She also kept tabs on financial seminars and academic meet-ups, hit up a few, soaked in expert talks, got the lowdown on the latest trends, and swapped ideas with other brainiacs, learning a ton.
After Sunny was born, she took it easy for a couple of months.
But even then, she wasn't just chilling. Sunny didn't need her 24/7, so she dove into more finance studies and even signed up for a grad exchange program.
She picked a good university, scoped out their grad school site, got the deets on the exchange program, and hustled to get all her application stuff in before the deadline.
William was a big help through all this.
As for tuition, she was stoked she didn't have to mess with scholarship apps. She had the cash, so no need for all that hassle.
Perks of having money, right?
Every country loved rich folks.
So, everything went pretty smooth.
Sunny was born in Stellaria and now had Stellaria citizenship.
She didn't come to Stellaria just to have the baby; it was more about being there for William's treatment, and she just happened to be pregnant, so she rolled with it.
Even though Sunny had Stellaria citizenship, Ava wasn't planning on changing hers. She didn't need to immigrate, and when Sunny hit eighteen, she'd let her decide if she wanted to keep Stellaria citizenship or switch back.
William walked into the study and saw Ava deep in her computer work. She looked stunning, even when she was all focused.
He came up to her and said, "Ava."
Ava turned, "William, you're here."
"How's it going?"
"In three days, I'm heading to the university. This exchange program runs for three months," Ava replied.
William said softly, "That's awesome. But after the exchange program, would you think about doing a grad degree in Stellaria?"
Ava thought for a sec, "We'll see. Not sure yet."
Truth was, Ava still wanted to go back home.
Scarlett was there, and all her friends too.
Doing a grad degree in Stellaria would be cool, but she worried if she stayed too long, she might end up sticking around for good, losing touch with her home country.
Seeing Ava's hesitation, William said, "No rush, we can figure it out later."
"Ava, I gotta head to the hospital for treatment later. Can you come with me?" William asked.
Before, during Ava's late pregnancy and recovery, William went solo for his treatments.
Ava closed her laptop, "Sure, I haven't gone with you in a while."
William smiled, "Let's take Sunny too. After my treatment, we can go for a walk."
"Sounds good." Ava was up for a stroll too.
