Chapter 325 Depend on Her Closely

After a few seconds of hesitation, Ava lifted her head. "Mia, I'm going to take a nap first."

She was really, really exhausted.

"Finish your breakfast before you go back to sleep." Mia placed all the breakfast on the table. "Even if you don't eat, your baby in the belly still needs to eat."

Ava nodded. "Okay then."

She lowered her head and gently touched her belly. "I'm sorry, baby. I stayed up late last night, so you probably didn't sleep well either? I'll catch up on sleep later."

Seeing Ava like this, Mia found her quite cute.

The way she talked to Alexander just now was like a couple having an argument. Although they had their differences, their relationship was still good. Outsiders probably wouldn't have guessed that they were already divorced.

If others knew that they were divorced, they would definitely be confused because they seemed to have a good relationship.

But indeed, it was strange that they were already divorced, yet Alexander seemed to be constantly harassing Ava.

Mia thought that in this regard, Alexander was very much like his father.

Mia sighed helplessly.

This father-and-son duo could only realize their mistakes after losing something.

After finishing her breakfast, Ava immediately fell asleep as soon as she returned to her room.

She was worried that if she slept for too long, she wouldn't be able to sleep at night, so she set the alarm and planned to sleep for just a few hours.

After cleaning up the kitchen, Mia went to the home office and saw that the documents on the desk were neatly arranged. The thick notebook was filled with notes written by Ava.

She flipped through it and was somewhat amazed, saying, "She is really patient and meticulous. She actually found the problems."

Mia picked up her phone and dialed a number. "Hello, the loan application from Wisdom Future Group did not pass."

Half an hour later, the doorbell rang.

Mia saw Alexander's gloomy face on the monitor behind the door.

She thought they would meet in a few days, but she didn't expect to see him today.

The doorbell kept ringing.

The other party seemed a little impatient.

Mia immediately adjusted her clothes and hair.

She didn't know why she was so flustered.

She cleared her throat, stood up straight, and opened the door expressionlessly. "Mr. Mitchell? What brings you here?"

Alexander furrowed his eyebrows. "I came to see Ava. Where is she?"

"She's resting. Do you need something from her?"

"I came to see her."

Alexander stared at Mia with caution as if he was here for revenge on Ava.

Mia stepped aside and pointed to one of the room doors with her finger.

Alexander, with a cold face, walked straight in, following Mia's direction.

"She's asleep," Mia said to Alexander's back, "Be careful."

Alexander ignored her and simply opened the door to the room.

He saw Ava lying on the bed, not even covering herself with the blanket, sleeping soundly.

Alexander helplessly shook his head and cautiously approached the bed.

The blanket on the bed was pressed under Ava's body.
