Chapter 1219 Looking for Guests

Ava and Bishop took some effort to reach the home of the master craftsman.

It was also through Bishop's connections and a friend's introduction that they were able to come.

The master craftsman was named Harry Brooks.

As soon as Harry saw Sunny in Ava's arms, his eyes lit up. "What a cute child. Are you two married?"

When Ava and Bishop went out with the child, it was easy for people to mistake them for a couple.

Ava smiled awkwardly, "He's my friend."

Bishop also gave an awkward but polite smile. "Yes, we are friends."

"I see."

Harry didn't press further. "I heard you wanted to see my works."

"Yes, Harry," Bishop said, "We've heard so much about you and wanted to see your works."

Ordinary people couldn't just come by; they were introduced by someone Harry knew.

"It's nice to see young people appreciating my work. It makes this older man happy. Let me show you my collection room."

Ava and Bishop followed Harry into his collection room, listening to Harry introduce his works one by one.

As a master in the artisan world, Harry created various handmade artworks, each a masterpiece. Many people from high society lined up to have custom pieces made by Harry.

It was evident that Harry loved each of his works, and his memory was exceptional. He could recall when each piece was designed.

"Harry, you are truly amazing. You can remember every one of your works. I really admire that."

"Each piece is like my child, so of course, I remember them. They are all my painstaking efforts."

"Harry, I have a piece you made many years ago. Can you take a look at it?" Ava asked.

"My work? Sure, let me see it."

Ava took a bracelet out of her bag and handed it to him with both hands.

Harry took the bracelet and examined it carefully, and his expression suddenly changed. But in less than half a second, he smiled calmly, "This looks familiar. It is indeed my work. It must be from many years ago."

"Harry, do you remember exactly how many years ago?"

"About twenty years ago. It's been so long, I don't remember exactly, but it is definitely my work."

Ava instinctively glanced at Bishop. They both had a feeling that Harry was hiding something.

Ava pressed on, "Harry, do you remember who commissioned this bracelet?"

Harry looked at Ava in confusion. "This bracelet is in your possession. Didn't you inherit it? You don't know who commissioned it?"

"Harry, I'm an orphan. When my parents abandoned me, this bracelet was the only thing I had. I want to find them. Can you remember who commissioned this bracelet?"

"I see." Harry looked her up and down.

Then he picked up the bracelet and examined it closely. "I'll look for the design sketch. It's been over twenty years, so I don't remember what the person looked like."

Bishop asked, "Do you have any records of your clients?"

Harry replied, "I don't keep client records to protect their privacy. I remember them myself. Some clients come to me repeatedly, so I'm familiar with them. But some only come once, and over time, I forget."

"Could you please try to recall and see if you can find the person who commissioned this bracelet?" Bishop said, "It's very important to us."

Harry nodded. "Sure, I'll look for the sketch and see if I can find it."
