Chapter 1050 A Scheme
William asked, "Alexander, what exactly did he tell you? Did you believe him?"
Ava suddenly laughed. "William, every time something happens, I stand up for you, but how do you treat me?"
"Don't believe Alexander!" William rushed forward and grabbed her shoulders, "No matter what Alexander says, he's lying to you. He's trying to smear me."
"I believe in evidence!" Ava forcefully pushed him away, "I saw the video."
William's face was full of shock, and he clenched his fists.
Damn Alexander.
He shouldn't have left Ava in Stellaria, but at the time he was worried about being caught by the police, so he left in a hurry without thinking it through.
"William, why did you lie to me? Why do you blame everything on Alexander? You gave me such a big surprise, showing me your true colors. How could you do such a thing? You're terrifying. Have you been pretending all along? Were you deceiving me?"
William's eyes were filled with shock.
William retorted, "Ava, I didn't lie to you."
"You didn't lie to me? Then why do your actions contradict your words? You told me those armed bodyguards were there to protect you, but why did I see you have them point guns at Alexander and Madison? Why were you threatening him? "
Ava was very angry and in pain. For the past three months, she had been holding it in.
After all, William was already in Berlyn, and Sunny was still with him, so every night when she video-called to see Sunny, she didn't dare bring it up with William.
Now, she was finally back in the country.
So she had to clear this up with William.
At this point, William knew that defending himself was meaningless.
It was all that damn Alexander's fault for installing a hidden camera.
If Madison hadn't warned him and he hadn't rushed back to Berlyn in time, he would be in jail in Stellaria by now.
After finally resolving that issue, Ava was now questioning him, which was undoubtedly adding insult to injury.
William apologized, "I'm sorry, Ava. I admit I did it."
Ava gave a bitter smile, "You finally admit it. Why didn't you admit it from the start? You lied because you were sure Alexander had no evidence. You thought you had destroyed all the cameras. If he hadn't installed a hidden camera, I wouldn't have known you could do such things."
Ava wiped the tears from her face, "William, you really shocked me. Our marriage was fake from the beginning. I was always ready for a divorce, but then a lot happened, and I thought about making it work with you. But now, I can't live with someone like you. You really scare me. Although I promised you I wouldn't bring up divorce again, I'm sorry, I have to break that promise. William, let's get a divorce. I'll take Sunny and leave."
She didn't want to say anything more. She just wanted to leave now, to take Sunny and go far away.
Her marriage with William was never real from the start.
It had all led to this step by step.
She even wondered if it had all been a scheme.
