Chapter 1273 Surveillance Video
Bishop took out his phone and called Ava.
But the phone prompted that it was turned off.
Bishop frowned, having a bad feeling.
The police had just contacted her, so why was Ava's phone off now?
He didn't believe Ava would go out alone and leave Sunny at home; she wouldn't be so careless.
Sunny's crying grew louder, as if something had happened.
Bishop was very anxious, but he didn't know the password.
But he had to get through this door now.
Bishop looked around, confirmed no one was there, took out a gun from his pocket, attached a silencer to the muzzle, aimed at the password lock, and fired two shots.
The password lock was destroyed, and Bishop successfully opened the door. Before he could enter, he saw Sunny lying on the floor, crying loudly.
Bishop was about to rush over when suddenly, an electric net from the ceiling came down on him.
Bishop reacted extremely quickly, rolled on the ground, and avoided the electric net.
The net fell to the ground, and the electric current was clearly visible. If he had touched it, he would have passed out on the spot.
Bishop looked around; it seemed Ava had installed a security system for safety. The broken lock triggered the system, which automatically activated the electric net.
If it were someone else, they would have been caught.
Bishop didn't have time to think too much. He immediately went forward, picked Sunny up from the ground, and moved away from the electric net.
"Sunny, where's your mom? Where is she?"
"Mom... gone... mom." Sunny cried and called for his mom.
Bishop worried that the crying would be heard by others, so he took Sunny back to the room to comfort him, "Don't cry, I'm here."
As if feeling some sense of security, Sunny soon stopped crying.
Bishop carefully placed Sunny on the bed, glanced at his diaper, and saw it needed changing.
He immediately changed Sunny into a dry diaper and then made a bottle of milk for him.
Sunny was very hungry and drank the milk eagerly.
After placing Sunny in the cradle, Bishop carefully checked the room and the living room.
Ava wasn't home; she wouldn't leave Sunny alone at home. Her phone was unreachable, and she had installed a security system at home.
The security system was very discreet; it wouldn't be noticed without careful inspection.
A strong feeling told him that something had happened to Ava.
But when the police talked to Ava, it was clear they reached her phone, and she told them everything was fine.
So, what exactly happened?
Bishop carefully checked every corner of the house.
Suddenly, he found a pinhole camera next to a painting.
Bishop immediately moved the painting, stared at the camera, and continued to check, finding five pinhole cameras in the room and the living room.
The cameras were very discreet; they wouldn't be noticed without careful inspection.
Combining this with the security system, Bishop guessed that Ava might have installed the cameras.
Bishop immediately returned to the room, picked up Ava's laptop, and turned it on.
Fortunately, Ava's laptop didn't have a password. He successfully logged in and found a client connected to the security system on the interface.
It required a password to view the videos.
Bishop glanced at Sunny, then tried entering Sunny's birthday.
It showed that the unlock was successful.
Bishop breathed a sigh of relief.
Then, he checked the footage of Ava in the house today.
