Chapter 330 Which Woman
Dalton sat expressionless on the sofa, drinking coffee.
William stood tall and imposing in front of Dalton.
Dalton seemed to be about to put down his cup, but suddenly, he raised his hand and forcefully threw the blanket at William's head.
The coffee in the cup spilled onto William's head.
Although the coffee was no longer hot, the cup was split into two halves upon impact.
William remained silent, still standing straight until the blanket fell to the ground.
Dalton looked up, coldly staring at him. "You're really something. I heard that recently, you rarely go to the company and spend all day outside. Even your secretary doesn't know where you are or what you're doing. Tell me, who is that woman?"
William responded, "It's all my own fault, not because of a woman. Don't misunderstand."
"I misunderstood?" Dalton stood up, just as tall and imposing as William.
He and William looked very similar in appearance.
The only difference was that Dalton had experienced a lot, and compared to William, he seemed colder and ruthless, as if he could harm anyone without hesitation.
"You messed up such a big project. You assured me before that you would definitely succeed, but in the end, someone else took away the project."
Dalton slowly circled William's body. "You better tell me, who is the woman you're with that made you not care about the company's matters? Otherwise, I can find out, too."
William's gaze remained calm as he calmly responded, "There is no woman. It's all my own fault. I take full responsibility for the project as well."
"You take responsibility?" Dalton sarcastically laughed. "Then tell me, how are you taking responsibility?"
"I can resign from the position of Blue Sky Group's president." William's eyes showed no panic but rather a sense of tranquility.
Dalton's sharp gazes were like swords as if they were going to split him in half.
"You messed up, and yet you want to resign. William, I never knew you were such an irresponsible person."
"Dad, then tell me, how do you want me to take responsibility? I lost the project. I am the highest person in charge, and I'm willing to take responsibility and resolve this issue. I'm also willing to resign."
"William!" Dalton exclaimed angrily. "You dare speak to me like this!"
William calmly responded, "I'm saying all this out of my sincerest attitude, with no other intentions."
"Fine." Dalton nodded. "William, I'm going to investigate right now who's responsible for making you like this. If this continues, the whole company will be destroyed by you."
"Dad, as I said, it's all my responsibility, not because of a woman. Do you want me to be the kind of person who blames a woman when something goes wrong?"
William naturally didn't want Dalton to know, fearing it would affect Ava as well.
He knew what kind of person Dalton was.
Even when it came to family, Dalton was ruthless enough, so it was inevitable that he was merciless towards others.
"It seems like you really want to protect that woman." Dalton sneered coldly. "If that's the case, then I must know who she is even more. Let me tell you first, if that woman has any influence on our family. I will definitely not let her go."
