Chapter 656 Arrogant and Overbearing
Before Brandon could respond, he suddenly saw a group of people charging towards the building.
Brandon's face turned cold. "Alexander!"
Alexander couldn't wait any longer and led his men directly into the building.
The door was kicked open with a loud crash. Led by Alexander, the dozen or so people behind him quickly aimed their weapons into the air, searching for targets. But when they saw the bloody corpses strewn across the ground, everyone was taken aback by the gruesome sight before them.
Alexander's eyes were nearly bloodshot. He immediately dashed forward, searching the area for any sign of Ava.
At this moment, William and Brandon also rushed in. They were equally shocked at the sight of the scene before them.
"Ava, Ava!" William shouted.
"Where are you? Ava!"
"Stop yelling," Alexander said as he walked out of a small room. "Ava's not here; she's been taken away."
Alexander crouched down to check out how these people died. Some had died horribly, others with just one shot.
These people were all the kidnappers involved in this abduction. Not one of them was missing.
Alexander thought, 'Who on earth took Ava? It definitely wasn't the police. Could there be another group?'
Just then, Alexander found a sticky note on a pillar. He stood up and tore it off the pillar.
"You slowpokes, by the time you get here to save her, she would have already been raped and killed. Bunch of losers."
The sticky note also had a drawing of a middle finger, blatantly mocking and arrogant.
William rushed forward and snatched the sticky note from Alexander's hand. When he saw the content, he was livid.
Brandon also glanced at the note, falling into confusion.
Alexander turned to leave.
William grabbed his arm and asked, "Where are you going?"
Alexander shook off his hand. "Of course, I'm going to save Ava."
"Where are you going to rescue her? Do you know where she is?"
"No, but I'll find her," Alexander said impatiently. "Are we going to waste time here? It's clear that she got snatched by someone else. Check out these dead kidnappers and think about what kind of person would take Ava."
It was obvious that Ava had fallen into another dangerous situation.
"Alexander, you got any ideas?" William questioned, "You know who snatched Ava?"
"How would I know?" Alexander scowled, speaking coldly. "Whoever it was, I'll get her back."
"Alexander, who are you to save her?" William snapped, "It's definitely because of you that Ava was kidnapped. You must be involved in this. If you go to save her, she'll be in even more danger!"
Alexander retorted sarcastically, "This is none of your business. You can't even recover your memory. You're the one who has no right to look for Ava. Looks like you've not only lost your memory but your brain as well."
With that, Alexander turned and left.
William was about to chase after him, but Brandon held him back. "Alright, William, let him go."
"I'm Ava's husband. Alexander is just her ex! What gives him the right to look for Ava? Maybe he orchestrated the whole thing and acted like a hero to win Ava's favor."
"No matter what, the more help we have, the better our shot at finding Ava. Forget the grudges for now and focus on finding Ava. If it really was orchestrated by Alexander, the truth will show itself."
William stared at the note in his hand. He angrily tore it to pieces and threw it on the ground.
