Elinor opened her mouth, unsure of how to respond, looking visibly confused. Noticing this, Ava continued, "Ms. Fairfax, don't worry. I'm not here to pressure you. Regardless, you have your own choices. You don't have to accept William. But right now, there are some things you might be able to help with. After all, he loves you."
Elinor managed a faint smile and said, "If he loves me, why would he forget me? But it seems he remembers you well."
Ava said, "The memories he has lost aren't necessarily unimportant. He also forgot his family, but they mean the world to him. It's just a coincidence that he happens to remember me. "Could we have dinner together tonight? I'd like you to talk to William alone."
Elinor's heart skipped a beat. "What are you saying?"
"Ms. Fairfax, don't misunderstand. I have no ulterior motives. Since William loves you so much, if he spends time alone with you, you could help him recover some memories. Just one meal, and I promise you'll be safe."
Elinor said, "Ms. Anderson, I understand your point, and I trust you mean no harm. But I think you might have misunderstood something. Mr. Bennett and I are not involved in the way you believe. We..."

Ava asked, "What about you?"
Elinor wanted to clarify to Ava that she and William had never dated, but she thought, 'Maybe William hasn't been honest Ava either. If I rashly say it now, it might lead to unnecessary complications.'
