Chapter 1074 You're Free

After Ava returned to the hotel, she opened the door and saw Bishop holding Sunny up high.

Sunny laughed extremely happily.

Hearing the noise behind him, Bishop turned around and gave her a gentle smile. "You're back."

Ava responded softly, walked forward, and stared blankly at Bishop. She wanted to say something, but her mind seemed stuck, and she ended up remaining silent.

"What's wrong?" Bishop asked, "Did something happen when you went to see him today?"

Ava took out some documents from her bag. "I've already divorced him."

Bishop breathed a sigh of relief. "That went smoothly. I worried that you might run into trouble."

"I thought so too at first, but I managed to convince William to divorce me."

Bishop felt puzzled. Given William's obsession with Ava, how could he agree to the divorce so easily?

But now that the divorce was finalized, he didn't say anything more.

Maybe he was overthinking it. After all, he didn't know William that well.

In the end, he could only say, "No matter what, the divorce is done. You're free now, and you can live for yourself."

Ava smiled gently. "And for my child."

She stepped forward and held Sunny. "Thank you for taking care of Sunny for me."

"It's ok. Sunny was very well-behaved."

"Let me treat you to dinner. What would you like to eat?"

It was already afternoon.

Bishop said, "How about we go out for a walk? I'm not familiar with this place. Are there any famous attractions or fun places around here?"

Ava thought for a moment. "Yes, what kind of attractions are you interested in? How about an ecological park, the beach, hiking, or skiing?"

Bishop pondered for a moment and then said, "Let's go to the ecological park. The scenery there must be relaxing."

"Okay."

Then the three of them drove to the ecological park.

Outsiders would think they were a family of three on an outing.

Bishop kept pushing the stroller.

Ava offered to push it twice, but Bishop said, "I can push Sunny. It's not a big deal."

So Ava didn't insist.

The two of them chatted and laughed in the park, breathing in the fresh air.

Time passed quickly. Before they knew it, it was getting dark.

The three of them went to a restaurant for dinner.

After dinner, Bishop insisted on paying.

Ava noticed that time seemed to fly by when she was with Bishop.

After paying the bill, they were about to leave the restaurant. Suddenly, Ava saw a familiar figure.

On the left was Mia, and on the right was a lady who looked about sixty years old.

The two of them were chatting and laughing, guided by a waiter to one of the tables.

Ava hadn't seen Mia in a long time.

Mia seemed to notice Ava too.

After saying something to the lady, she walked over to Ava.

"Ava, what are you doing here? And who is this?" Mia asked, looking curiously at Bishop.

Ava said, "He's my friend."

"Friend?" Mia raised an eyebrow slightly. "Ava, long time no see. I didn't know you were back. How's William?"
