Chapter 1135 Asking Him for Help
Eason calmly trimmed his plants with scissors and said lightly, "You did this yourself, and now you're asking me for help? You can't even handle such a small problem?"
Hearing Eason's reaction, Madison exclaimed, "Do you know what happened?"
"Didn't you and Emily push Scarlett down the stairs?" Eason said with a smile, cutting off a flower branch and tossing it aside.
"You know everything?" Madison couldn't believe how many informants Eason had. How did he know everything?
"Of course, I know everything." Eason turned around and said, "Ms. Allen, what do you need my help with now?"
"If Scarlett wakes up, she'll tell everyone what happened. Even though she has dementia, what if Alexander believes her? You have to help me."
"Why should I help you? This is your own doing."
Eason coldly brushed past her.
"You dragged me into this," Madison caught up and said. "It was all your plan, placing me by Alexander's side, making me fall in love with him. I still don't know what your ultimate goal is, but I know you're using me. If you want to use me, I need to stay by Alexander's side to be of any value."
"You love Alexander so much, aren't you worried that after I use you, I'll end up killing him?" Eason asked with a sly smile.
"I can't worry about that now. Please help me," Madison grabbed his arm. "I'm begging you, help me. I'll do anything you ask. I know you have the ability. You could even find a heart for me, let alone deal with a half-dead Scarlett. I'm begging you."
"Why do you think you have any value?" Eason's gaze turned colder. "I let you stay by Alexander's side, share his bed, and now he wants to dump you. It seems you're quite useless."
Madison was both angry and anxious, "I'll find a way. I won't leave him easily. I'm begging you to help me."
Eason picked up a watering can to water the plants, "As long as I help you, you'll do anything, right?"
"Yes, I will. I'm begging you."
Eason beckoned her with his finger, "Come here."
Madison cautiously stepped forward and leaned in.
At that moment, Eason whispered something in her ear.
Madison was shocked, "Will that really work?"
"If you don't dare, then forget it."
"I dare. There's nothing I won't dare. But can I have someone else do it for me?"
"You want Emily to do it for you?" Eason saw right through her.
Madison nodded. "Yes, she's dumb. As long as I say some nice things, she'll do anything."
"That depends on your skills," Eason said, continuing to water the plants.
The next night.
Alexander stood by Scarlett's bed, looking serious.
Ava came to his side holding Sunny, "Alexander, it's very late. You should get some rest."
Alexander turned and saw Ava. He reached out his hand, "Can I hold Sunny?"
"Sure." Ava handed Sunny to him.
Sunny was very sleepy and had fallen asleep, his eyes closed, and his little mouth moving as if tasting something.
Alexander placed Sunny on his lap and gently stroked his little face.
"Grandma always wanted a great-grandson or great-granddaughter. I thought she would be very happy in the coming days, thinking we had a child. But I didn't expect this to happen. Even her fleeting happiness was so short-lived."
