Chapter 1162 Aggressive

"Alexander, whatever you had to say, you already said it at the gravestone today. Your attitude has impressed me, but there's nothing more to say. You should leave."

Ava was about to get into the car and leave.

Alexander stopped her, "Ava, can we talk in private, please?"

"She said she doesn't want to talk to you." William pushed Alexander aside, standing in front of Ava with a fierce look. "Did you hear that? She doesn't want to see you right now. Have you forgotten how you pushed her today? You almost hurt Ava while protecting that woman. Look at what you've done. What right do you have to say anything to her?"

William's words made Alexander extremely angry, but he had to admit he had done something stupid today.

He almost hurt her, and he felt very guilty.

So he couldn't refute William's words; if he did, it would seem like making excuses.

"You should leave. Ava doesn't want to talk to you." Eason's tone was relatively calm, not as aggressive as William's, but his eyes were filled with disdain for Alexander.

Bishop didn't say anything, but his eyes were cold.

The three men stared at Alexander, making him feel like a target.

"Ava, do you really want it to be like this? I'm also in pain and heartbroken over Grandma's death. I didn't expect this to happen. Can't we just talk?"

"Fine." Ava also had something to say to him.

Hearing that Ava was willing to talk to him, Alexander's sorrow turned to joy.

Ava said to the three men, "You guys go upstairs first and take Sunny with you. After I finish talking with Alexander, I'll drive the car in. You go up and start cooking."

Ava's voice was cold, sounding like she was giving orders.

The three men seemed to obey her every command now.

"Ava, I'm not comfortable leaving you alone with Alexander. I'm afraid he'll hurt you again," William said, full of concern.

Eason added, "Ava, how about I stay with you?"

"It's okay, you three go upstairs." Ava's expression became more serious. "Go now, I'll come up later."

They were still hesitant. Seeing this, Ava took Sunny out of the car seat and handed her to Bishop. "You go upstairs. This is the last time I'm saying it. Otherwise, you all have to leave my house."

Ava's voice clearly showed she had lost her patience.

"Alright, I'll go up first." Bishop, holding Sunny, was the first to leave.

Seeing Bishop leave, William and Eason reluctantly followed, carrying Sunny.

They kept looking back every few steps.

"Once you go upstairs, no fighting or arguing, or you'll all have to leave," Ava reminded them.

She sounded like she was managing three naughty elementary school kids, who were even less mature than Sunny when they acted childish.

Alexander saw how Ava managed to keep them in line. It was obvious they cared about her; otherwise, why would they listen to her so well?

He realized he had been foolish, pushing Ava away and letting others take advantage of the situation.

Ava said, "Alexander, they've gone upstairs. What do you want to talk about? Go ahead."

She wanted to hear what nonsense Alexander would come up with this time, as he had already surprised her many times before.

"I'm sorry about today. I didn't mean it. Are you hurt?" Alexander reached out to her, almost instinctively wanting to show concern.

Ava immediately took a step back. "Don't touch me."

Her eyes were filled with annoyance.

When Alexander pushed her away to protect Madison today, she started feeling this way towards him.

Alexander's hand, which was reaching out to her, hung in the air before he dejectedly pulled it back. "You hate me now, don't you? You can hit me or scold me, but can you forgive my negligence? I really didn't mean it at the time. If I didn't pull you apart, I was worried things would escalate and get out of hand."

"So you pushed me away to support your Madison? You should tell this explanation to Madison. She'll probably cry and thank you in your arms."

Ava's voice was very unkind, and she had no interest in hearing his explanation.
