Chapter 551 I Did Nothing Wrong

The bride seemed to have gone mad, rushing forward to tear at the groom's clothes. People nearby quickly stepped in to stop her. "Alright, everyone has seen enough of this spectacle. Whatever the issue is, let's discuss it privately."

"He treated me like this, and all you care about is the spectacle! I almost married him!" The bride cried in grievance while a group of people beside her tried to persuade her not to discuss family scandals in public.

"It was just that one time. My son was under a lot of pressure," the groom's parents explained.

"So you all knew and still kept it from me? That's too much! You all conspired to deceive me!" the bride yelled.

As the stage erupted into a clamorous frenzy, Alexander stood by almost as though spectating an engaging drama until Ava seized his arm firmly, exclaiming, "Alexander, come with me."

Alexander stumbled as he followed Ava. She led him through the crowd, avoiding the gazes of others until they left the chaotic scene.

Once they were alone, Ava closed the door and stared at Alexander with a somewhat angry expression. "Alexander, do you know what you were just doing?"

Alexander snorted lightly, his eyes fixed on her, "Didn't you see what I was doing?"

"You still have the nerve to be so self-righteous!" Ava said angrily, "Grandma asked us to attend the wedding, not to cause trouble. Your actions just now created such a mess. Why did you do it?"

"Why? You saw it, too," Alexander replied indifferently.

The sight of him reeking of alcohol and playing the drunken fool made Ava tremble with anger.

She raised her hand to hit him, but Alexander grabbed her wrist.

"What, you want to teach me a lesson? What did I do wrong?" Alexander retorted.

"Don't you know what you did?" Ava struggled to free herself. "Let go of me."

Alexander chuckled softly and suddenly pulled her into his arms, kissing her palm. "I did nothing wrong."

Ava's face bumped into his firm chest. She hurriedly pushed against his chest, trying to break free. "Let go of me."

Alexander pinned her against the wall and sneered, "Why are you so angry? Because I ruined their wedding? To us, they are just irrelevant people. Why do you care so much?"

Ava looked up, and replied, "If they are irrelevant, why did you do that? Do you know how big of a joke you made? The president of SK Group acting drunk and talking nonsense at someone else's wedding. Grandma will be very angry when she hears about this."

"Which word I said was nonsense?" Alexander's gaze suddenly became serious. He pinned Ava's hands against the wall. "Tell me, was I wrong? Is love alone enough? I love you too, but we still got divorced."

"That's between us. Why did you have to ruin someone else's wedding?" Ava said frustratedly.

"What did I ruin? If they truly love each other, if their feelings for each other are unbreakable, who can ruin that?" Alexander retorted.

He didn't think what he did he was wrong.

"Alexander, can you stop causing trouble? After doing something like this, you still have the nerve to be so self-righteous!"

"Because I did the right thing, of course. I have to be self-righteous!" Despite being drunk, Alexander's eyes were clear, he knew exactly what he was doing.

"Every word I said on stage was true. And didn't you see? That man betrayed his bride, and his whole family helped cover it up. Do you want to watch that woman marry that scumbag?"
