Chapter 975 In a Daze
After a few minutes, Madison flopped onto the bed, totally wiped out.
Alexander wiped the corner of her mouth with his hand. "Madison, you don't have to do this."
"Alexander, I'd do anything for you." Madison's cheeks were flushed, and her eyes were all shy and sparkly as she looked at him.
She liked doing this for him, willing to do anything.
She knew he was a normal guy, young and strong, how could he resist?
Alexander said, "Madison, get some sleep. I'll take you to the hospital tomorrow."
Madison nodded. "Okay, Alexander, are you still gonna sleep next door?"
Alexander sighed, thinking about what just went down.
At this point, whether he slept next door or not didn't really matter.
With that thought, Alexander lay down beside Madison, holding her close.
"Alexander," Madison whispered shyly in his ear, "I want it too."
Alexander raised his hand, gently caressing her face.
Then his hand slowly moved downward.
Madison had a heart condition, so he had to be gentle with her.
Late at night, the villa was quiet and mysterious, wrapped in thick darkness. Moonlight peeked through the leaves, casting a silver glow on the grass and making the tree shadows dance.
A gentle breeze blew, making the branches sway lightly, like a soft tune from nature.
On the bed, Madison was sleeping soundly, her long hair spread out on the white pillow like a waterfall in the night, smooth and full of life.
Her lips were slightly parted, showing a hint of a peaceful smile. Her eyebrows arched slightly, like she was chasing a beautiful dream, savoring the sweetness of the night.
Taking advantage of Madison's deep sleep, Alexander carefully got out of bed.
He gently covered her with the blanket, then kissed her on the lips, full of affection.
The room was heavy with emotion.
Darkness wrapped around everything, with only the moonlight streaming through the window, softly outlining the room's contours.
Alexander sat by Madison's bed, his figure shrouded in deep shadow in the dim light.
His face was sharply defined, with strong and resolute lines, like a sculpture cast in steel, showing his maturity and restraint.
But his thick eyebrows were tightly knit, showing a hint of worry and helplessness. His deep eyes reflected endless contemplation and thought.
In the darkness, every expression of his showed inner repression and conflict.
His hands were tightly clenched, knuckles slightly white, struggling internally.
Gazing at Madison on the bed, his eyes were filled with complex feelings, but also a hint of pain and helplessness.
Alexander felt a sense of pity for Madison, a pity that even surpassed what he had felt for Isabella before.
Alexander even kind of liked Madison.
A woman who would give her life to love him, how could he, as a man, not be moved?
Especially after losing his beloved Ava, being misunderstood and hurt by Ava repeatedly, so when Madison appeared in his life, loving him so selflessly and giving everything for him, he was deeply moved.
He didn't know how to explain things to Madison.
Marry her?
But that would be unfair to Madison because he couldn't let go of Ava.
Even if he married Madison, he couldn't love her the way he loved Ava.
Could that little bit of liking and pity sustain them?
He fantasized about his future, seeing only a blank slate because he didn't know how things would develop. Everything he was doing now was in a daze.
