Chapter 1128 Nobody's Perfect

Ava pushed him away and said, "Alright then, I'm going to sleep. You should go to sleep too."

Alexander then tucked her in and turned to walk towards the sofa.

Later, the lights in the room went out. One person slept on the bed, and the other on the sofa, peacefully.

About two hours later, Ava faintly heard Sunny crying. She was very sensitive and immediately opened her eyes, thinking about who was crying. She turned on the light to go comfort Sunny.

But when she glanced at the sofa, she found only a thin blanket, fallen to one side, and the person who was there was gone.

Where did Alexander go?

Ava rubbed her eyes and, without thinking much, got out of bed, put on a coat, and walked out of the room.

But after going out, she found that Sunny's crying had already stopped.

Still, she walked towards the nursery. When she reached the door, she saw the light in the nursery was on, and a gentle and pleasant voice was coming from inside.

"Sunny, are you scared being here alone? It's okay, I'm here with you. Don't be afraid. If there's a bad person, I'll chase them away."

Alexander was holding Sunny, standing by the cradle, gently comforting him, pacing back and forth, and speaking softly.

Sunny occasionally let out a burst of laughter, and Alexander laughed along, "Why are you so cute? You look a lot like your mom. Sunny, when you grow up, don't be like William."

Alexander gently touched his little face, "Even though you're William's child, you're also Ava's child. I'll love you too."

He carefully kissed Sunny on the forehead, his actions exceptionally gentle.

Ava stared at him from the doorway, motionless, not wanting to interrupt, but silently watching, her eyes a bit red.

'Alexander, he is your child. Scarlett said Sunny looks like you, and she wasn't just saying it casually. He really is your child.'

Ava bit her lip, lowered her head, and silently wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes.

Alexander thought Sunny was William's child, but he was still willing to comfort Sunny in the middle of the night and be so gentle with him.

Alexander was not a bad person; she always knew that.

It was just that no one was perfect. Everyone had flaws, even herself.

But the things Alexander did before, she really couldn't get over. Plus, now he had Madison by his side, so she felt that there was no possibility between her and Alexander anymore.

She didn't even know if she still loved Alexander. She only knew that she didn't want to be with him anymore, not at all.

Ava didn't go into the room to disturb them but silently left, leaving Alexander and Sunny alone.

After returning to her room, she lay on the bed, unable to sleep, staring blankly at the ceiling.

About half an hour later, the door was carefully pushed open. When Alexander came in, he found the light was still on.

He remembered he didn't leave the light on when he went out, moving quietly, afraid of waking Ava.

Ava was still lying on the bed, seemingly sleeping soundly.

Just as Alexander was about to turn off the light, suddenly, Ava sat up from the bed, "You're back."

Alexander was startled, "Ava, when did you wake up? Did Sunny wake you?"
