Chapter 1131 Encountering an Acquaintance
Ava's words, Alexander naturally listened to.
Alexander had the bodyguards stand at the door of the hospital room, and the four of them went to the lounge area.
They found an empty seat and quietly ate breakfast.
Alexander and Ava were both in very low spirits.
Madison glanced at the two of them and comforted, "Grandma will be fine."
"Yes, that's right," Emily echoed, "She will definitely be okay."
Alexander responded faintly, "After breakfast, you should go back. I'll be staying at the hospital with Grandma for a while. You two can go out and have some fun, do your own things."
"Alexander, we can stay here with Grandma too, don't be so distant."
"Yeah, yeah," Emily added, "We don't have anything important to do anyway, Grandma is the most important right now."
Alexander didn't feel like arguing with them, "Do whatever you want."
Seeing that Alexander didn't want to talk to her, Madison felt both angry and sad.
He was probably going to use this opportunity to flirt with Ava again.
Just then, a voice came, "Alexander."
Hearing the familiar voice, Alexander looked up to see Isabella walking over.
Ava felt a sense of surrealism seeing Isabella.
She hadn't seen her in a long time.
Isabella walked over, dressed in a very professional outfit, carrying a bag and wearing high heels, exuding the aura of a businesswoman.
"Ava, you're here too," Isabella's gaze then fell on Madison, "And you."
She had seen Madison at the hospital last time and knew she wasn't a good person.
Alexander asked, "What are you doing here?"
"I'm here with my dad for a check-up. By the way, long time no see, how have you been? Why are you at the hospital, what happened?"
"Grandma got hurt," Alexander replied.
Isabella immediately asked, "How is she now?"
"She's in a coma, she fell down the stairs."
"Oh my God," Isabella comforted, "Alexander, Grandma will be fine, I'll definitely pray for her."
Alexander didn't say much more, he had lost his appetite for breakfast.
"Ava, long time no see," Isabella smiled at her.
Isabella's eyes no longer had that soft and weak look. She had been working hard on her career lately.
With Eason's help, the family company was now hers. She used to cling to Alexander for money and because she genuinely liked him.
But now that she had money, she had solved 90% of her problems in life.
Money was still the best.
Ava glanced at her and responded indifferently, "Yes."
The atmosphere seemed a bit awkward.
The most awkward was Alexander.
Three women gathered together.
"Well, you guys carry on, I have to go, my dad is waiting for me," Isabella said as she left.
"Looks like she's been doing well lately," Ava smiled faintly.
She didn't really hate Isabella anymore; those past events were meaningless to think about now.
Alexander said, "I didn't know what she's been up to lately, I haven't been in touch with her for a long time, today was just a coincidence."
Alexander was afraid Ava would misunderstand, so he explained to her.
