Chapter 841 None of Your Business
"You won't tell me, will you? Well, you've lost the chance to negotiate with me." After saying this, Alexander turned to leave.
"Wait a minute," Eason called out to him.
Alexander stopped in his tracks. "Have you changed your mind?"
Eason said, "I can't think of anything to trade with you right now. Can you owe me for now? When I figure out what I want, I'll come to you."
Alexander turned around and walked to the bedside. "Alright, give me the address."
Eason emphasized, "You have to keep your word. If I come to you for something in the future, you must remember our agreement today."
Alexander said, "I'll keep my word."
Eason added, "Okay, I'll give it to you. But you can't say it was from me, or Ava will be unhappy. I'm on your side now."
Eason picked up a sticky note from the bedside table, wrote an address on it, and handed it to him, "This is the best hospital in Stellaria. William is being treated there and goes every Sunday morning. The other address is where they live, not far from the hospital."
Alexander glanced at the address on the sticky note and memorized it instantly. He then crumpled the note in his hand, his gaze cold.
"We have an agreement. You can't say I gave you the address. You have to promise me," Eason said seriously.
Alexander just gave him a cold look and left the ward.
Madison immediately followed. "Mr. Mitchell."
After walking a bit, Alexander stopped and turned around, "Ms. Allen, I'm sorry, but pretend you didn't see what just happened."
"But I did see it," Madison said worriedly. "You got the address. Are you planning to go to Stellaria to find Ava?"
She was really worried that his ex-wife might hurt him again.
After all, Alexander had been seriously injured before, and according to that mysterious man, it was his ex-wife who had harmed him.
If he really went to Stellaria to find her, the consequences could be disastrous.
She had heard that place was chaotic, with rampant gun violence. If Avawanted to harm him, it would be easy.
"This has nothing to do with you," Alexander said indifferently,"I'll take you back now. Let's go."
After saying this, Alexander walked out of the hospital.
Madison silently followed him.
Once in the car, Alexander was very quiet. His face looked troubled, and Madison could sense the turmoil in his heart.
Several times, Madison wanted to speak but swallowed her words, fearing that Alexander would be annoyed by her.
Finally, Alexander drove to the apartment complex where Madison lived, "We're here. You can go up now."
"Mr. Mitchell, I don't know what kind of person Ava is that makes you so infatuated with her. But you have to think about yourself. If you really go to see her, what can you say? Are you going to take her back?"
Ava was already someone else's wife.
Alexander said sternly, "Ms. Allen, you're meddling too much. This is my business, not yours."
"I..." Madison wanted to say that she had saved him. Last time, he was so badly injured. If it was Ava did it, and he went to find her again, wouldn't he be courting death?
But remembering how Alexander had blamed her for saving him last time, saying he didn't want to live, what was the point of repeating that she had saved him? It would only make him more annoyed.
"I'm sorry, I won't say anything more. I'm just too worried about you. I hope you'll think it over. Think about your family. They all care about you so much."
Hearing Madison's last words, Alexander just gave a bitter smile.
Alexander said, 'How laughable, that my family all care about me.'
Alexander replied, "I have things to do. I need to go. You should get out."
Madison sighed softly, unbuckled her seatbelt, and got out of the car.
She stood outside the car window, watching Alexander drive away, tears streaming down her face.
She thught, 'Is Ava really that good?'
She really wanted to meet her.
