Chapter 637 Can't Be Bothered with You

Seeing Isabella's silence, Josh spoke up, "I don't care who you met out there, just don't disgrace the Harrington family. If you really found a loser, that's your own business. You can live with him, and we won't bother with you. Just make sure you do not bring shame upon the Harrington family."

Upon hearing these words, Isabella flared up, her fists clenching involuntarily as she struggled to contain her fury. "Do you all think I can only find a loser? Am I such a fool?"

Harper said, "Isabella, no one thinks you are stupid. You've been sharp since you were a child, perhaps even excessively so. Everyone in this house has suffered because of you at some point. We wouldn't dare underestimate you."

Hearing Harper's sarcastic words, Isabella snorted coldly, "That's right, don't underestimate me. I'm marrying Alexander tomorrow."

When Josh and Harper heard the name "Alexander," they exchanged glances. The name sounded familiar, but they found it hard to believe.

"Alexander? Which Alexander are you talking about?"

"Which Alexander do you think?" Isabella stepped forward with a slight smile. "Doesn't the name ring a bell? Alexander, the CEO of SK Group."

"Alexander is already married," Josh said. "Are you his mistress? What's there to brag about?"

"If I get married, how can I be his mistress? After the wedding, we'll get our marriage certificate. Anyway, I'm still a member of the Harrington family. I know you don't like me, but you have to attend the wedding, right?"

She was worried that if no one from the Harrington family attended her wedding, people would look down on her, thinking she had no family support. She was afraid that they would underestimate her.

"Then prove it," Harper said. "Show us that you're really marrying Alexander. Otherwise, it's all just talk."

Isabella pulled out her phone from her pocket and dialed Alexander's number.

After a few seconds, the call connected. "Isabella, what's up?"

"Alex, I'm back home. I told Dad and Harper that we're getting hitched tomorrow, but they don't believe me. Can you talk to them?"

"Of course, give him the phone."

Isabella handed the phone to her father.

Josh took the phone. "Hello."

After the call ended, Josh glanced at Harper and nodded.

Harper gave a slight smile. "Well, well. Alexander actually agreed to marry you. I heard he was married before. Did he divorce for you?"

"You're spot on, Harper," Isabella said with a smug smile. "Alex did get divorced. So, have you changed your mind yet? Will you grace my wedding with your presence?"

Josh handed the phone back to her. "Since Mr. Mitchell invited us to the wedding, we'll go."

"Great. Even if we're not best buds, let's keep it professional tomorrow and show a little of that family love. After all, my husband is Alexander, which is beneficial for you too."

Harper stepped forward and said, "So, with the big day tomorrow, are you staying here tonight?"

Isabella nodded, saying, "Yeah, I'll stay at home. Alex will come to pick me up tomorrow. Everything will go according to plan. Just make sure you're prepared in advance."

"Leave it to your sister," Josh said. "Tell her what you need, and she'll handle it. I have other things to attend to."

With that, Josh left.
