Chapter 362 In Search of Elinor

William had reserved a private room. Prior to his arrival, he had extended an offer to Ava to pick her up, but she had declined, insisting on driving herself. He did not press the matter further. Ava was a woman of strong will, and he respected her independence.

Upon reaching the private room early, he found himself alone, waiting for Ava and Victoria to arrive with Elinor. Uncertainty gnawed at him. He wasn't sure if the individual Victoria had found was reliable or if the entire endeavor would end in failure.

With time to spare, William pulled out his phone and dialed Victoria's number.

At the club, Victoria was fast asleep on a plush sofa. The intrusive ring of her phone roused her from her slumber. She opened her eyes with a groan, reaching for the phone with a grumble. "Who is it?" she muttered, her voice thick with sleep.

"William, I didn't mess things up. Where are you? I'll come over right away," she said.

"I already sent you the location. Hurry up and bring the person over," he instructed.

"I got it. I'll come right away," she affirmed.

Once the call ended, Victoria glanced at the time and leapt off the sofa. "It's over, it's over, it's over, it's over," she muttered to herself. It was already four in the afternoon. She had slept the entire day away!

The previous night, she had partied until dawn and hadn't slept a wink. When morning came, her friends had all departed, leaving her exhausted. She had decided to catch a few hours of sleep at the club, but she hadn't anticipated sleeping the entire day away. Elinor's matter had slipped her mind entirely.

In a flurry of panic, Victoria rushed out of the room. As she hurried down the hallway, she dialed a number on her phone. As soon as the call connected, she blurted out, "Find me a woman who can act, looks gentle, and..."
