Chapter 320 He Likes You
Ava smiled and nodded. "Okay."
"After reviewing so many materials, did you find any problems?" Mia asked.
Ava said, "Their data is too perfect, but I don't think a company that big can expand so rapidly without any issues. Sometimes, the more perfect something appears, the more hidden problems there are compared to those imperfect things."
Ava continued, "And the stock price of Wisdom Future Group is very high right now. I feel like it's in danger."
Mia smiled slightly, "Not bad, you have talent. But sometimes, relying solely on intuition is not enough. You still need solid evidence to convince people."
Ava nodded. "Okay, I will continue to search."
Mia said, "Don't be too anxious; take it slow. Patience is needed no matter what you do."
Ava said, "I understand."
"However," Mia wondered, "Why are you so eager to find information on Wisdom Future Group and discover any problems? I feel like you have a purpose beyond just curiosity and wanting to learn something."
"Well..." Ava hesitated.
She did have a purpose, but it wasn't for herself.
She had heard about Wisdom Future Group before at William's company, and since Blue Sky Group had suffered losses because of them, she thought that since she knew something, she might as well take a look and see if she could help.
"It's okay, you don't have to tell me," Mia took out some food from the refrigerator, "Can you help me wash the vegetables?"
"Sure."
Ava walked over and prepared dinner with her. The two of them got along harmoniously.
Ava suddenly realized that Mia wasn't as cold-hearted as she usually appeared.
Perhaps spending time with Mia made people realize that she was actually very warm-hearted.
Although Ava and Alexander were divorced now, Ava and Mia were still close.
Mia also liked Eva very much.
"Try this," Mia said, "It's good."
"Thank you. You should eat, too."
"Don't be so polite," Mia said, "I consider you my daughter, and the child you're carrying is also my grandchild."
"Mia, when the child is born, I will definitely tell you first."
There was one person in the Mitchell family who knew that she was pregnant, and she suddenly felt less lonely. At least the child's grandmother knew of its existence.
"What about Alex? Doesn't he have the right to know?"
Ava fell silent.
Mia said, "I'm not blaming you. I just feel that you might not know that Alex cares a lot about you; I think he really likes you."
The spoon in Ava's hand fell into the bowl of soup, splashing up and getting on her fingers. It was a little hot, but she stood there frozen, unable to feel the pain, her whole body going stiff.
Mia pulled out a tissue and handed it to her. "Wipe it off."
Ava snapped out of it, took the tissue, and wiped her hand. "Mia, you're too confident. How could he like me?"
"Do you think he dislikes you?" Mia countered.
Ava thought for a moment, then said, 'Even if he doesn't dislike me, he definitely wouldn't like me. Otherwise, why would he divorce me and want to marry Isabella?'
