Chapter 715 Sincere Question

Ava threw the blanket over both of them.

Right now, William and Eason were stuck lying side by side on a hospital bed.

With her hands on her hips, Ava snapped, "Alright, you two, rest up."

She'd figured out these guys were fighting for her attention.

'What childish men!' Ava thought, feeling both helpless and a bit ticked off.

William and Eason exchanged annoyed looks.

William quickly said, "Ava, I'm feeling better. Really, I can get up."

Just as he started to move, Ava angrily shouted at him, "Stay put!"

William flinched and lay back down, not daring to move a muscle.

He was terrified of Ava when she was mad.

Ava gritted her teeth. "Neither of you is getting up. Just lie there. If anyone moves, you're out. I don't want to see you anymore!"

'They're fighting for my attention right in front of me. So infuriating! How could they have the nerve?'

'If I don't put my foot down, they'll just keep pushing it.' Ava decided.

They were so stunned by her outburst that they couldn't say a word. Ava had them completely under control, and they didn't even dare to breathe.

Ava was genuinely angry, not holding back. She rarely lost her temper, but once her line was crossed, it was game over.

These two had gone way too far.

After a moment, she walked towards the door.

As soon as Ava turned around, they started to move.

Ava spun back and glared at them.

They froze, too scared to move.

Ava pointed at them. "Don't move. Just lie there!"

They fell silent, obediently.

After Ava left the room, William turned to Eason and glared. "This is all your fault. Why'd you have to get involved?"

Eason looked innocent. "I don't know what you're talking about. I just bit my tongue."

"So gross. How old are you? Still doing stuff like this." William was fuming.

"I'm eighteen." Eason blinked innocently. "How old are you?"

William felt a tightness in his chest and snapped, "What are you so proud of?"

Eason looked genuinely puzzled. "I'm not proud, William. Why would you say that? And you look so mad. Didn't you say you wanted to make peace with me? Are you being two-faced?"

He asked so sincerely that William just glared at him.

"You..."

Just as he was about to speak, Ava walked back in.

The nurse followed, collecting all the trays in the room.

"You must be full."

Ava stood by the bed, hands on her hips, like a parent scolding their kids.

"Ava, I was wrong." Eason quickly apologized. "I'm sorry, I just wanted you to care about me."

Eason admitted it straight up, no excuses.

William didn't expect Eason to apologize so fast.

"But this isn't the right way. To get my attention, you bit your tongue on purpose! Wait, did you really bite your tongue? I think you're faking it."

"Ava, I'm sorry. How about I really bite it?" Eason immediately stuck out his tongue to bite it.

"Stop!" Ava rushed forward to stop him. "If you bite it, I won't care about you anymore."

Eason quickly retracted his tongue, looking at her with wide, watery eyes. "Ava, I'll be good. I won't bite it."
