Chapter 899 Fierce and Malevolent

Ava was behind the wheel, tears streaming down her face.

She had no clue how long she'd been driving when a wave of nausea hit her. She pulled over and stumbled out of the car.

That's when she noticed she was by a river, in the middle of nowhere. She had no idea where she was.

Ava crouched by the river, puking her guts out.

Thinking about Alexander and Madison getting cozy made her want to hurl. She knew she shouldn't feel this way, but she couldn't help it.

They always missed each other. So, Alexander didn't even know they had a kid.

She was gonna tell him today, but then she found out Madison was pregnant with his baby.

Every time they tried to talk about something important, something always got in the way.

It was like the universe didn't want them together.

First Isabella, now Madison. There was always some chick hanging around Alexander.

Before things got this messy with Alexander, he said he loved her and wanted her back. She was really touched.

But she didn't feel safe. The security Alexander gave her was even less than what William gave her.

She always felt like she wasn't Alexander's only one. There was always an Isabella between them.

Now that she thought about it, she was right. There wasn't just an Isabella, but a Madison too.

Suddenly, a few gunshots rang out, scaring the crap out of Ava.

Ava thought about the shooting news in Stellaria and couldn't believe it was happening to her. She'd been here for months without any trouble, and most people were nice.

Now this? Ava was terrified. She scrambled to her feet, jumped back in the car, and tried to get out of there.

More gunshots rang out, blowing out her tires.

The car shook, windows shattered, and a big hand reached in, yanking the door open.

Ava was dragged out by a bunch of guys, and a cold gun barrel was pressed against her head.

Ava screamed and begged, "I have money, my wallet's in the car, take it, take all the money, just let me go, please! I'm just passing through, I don't know anything!"

Under the dim streetlight, Ava couldn't see the guys clearly, just heard them whispering.

Then, they dragged her away.

"Let me go, let me go!" Ava kept shouting for help!

One of the kidnappers slapped her hard, "Shut up, or I'll kill you!"

The gun barrel was pressed right against her lips.

The slap was so hard she almost blacked out, her face burning with pain.

She didn't dare shout anymore, just watched helplessly as they dragged her into a building.

They threw her to the ground.

Around her stood a bunch of kidnappers, about seven or eight of them. They looked mean and all had guns, definitely not friendly.

"What do you want?" Ava's eyes were filled with fear.

At that moment, a cold voice cut through the night, reaching everyone's ears.

"If you're gonna kill me, why bring a woman here? Oh, you want me to have a final sex before I die?"

The bone-chilling coldness pierced Ava's eardrums. She followed the voice and saw a tall figure standing in the shadows not far away, hard to make out.

One of the kidnappers said, "Vincent, you just got here and she followed right after. You two are clearly together."

"Together?" Vincent's voice was lazy and elegant, almost pleasant to hear. "You idiots, how could you think I'd bring a woman to slow me down?"

The kidnappers looked at Vincent suspiciously. He was always cunning, treacherous, and ruthless, capable of anything.

At first, they thought Ava was also an assassin, but after dragging her out of the car, they realized she was just a weak chick.

"If you two aren't together, then after we gang-rape her, we'll kill her. She can keep you company after death!" the kidnappers shouted.
