Chapter 336 A Completely Opposite Attitude

She thought, 'Although he will probably find out about my relationship with Mia sooner or later, at least for now, I need to rescue Will. We can discuss the rest later.'

"You really believed her," Dalton said to John, turning his head towards him.

John approached and said, "Mr. Bennett."

Dalton handed him the wooden stick and asked him to put it back in its original place.

Ava finally breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the stick being taken away.

She thought, 'It seems like Will is saved today.'

Dalton stared at Ava for a long time.

He wondered, 'Could she be her daughter?'

"How old are you?" Dalton suddenly asked.

Ava replied, "I'm twenty-one."

"Twenty-one. Oh, that's good."

But he felt a little disappointed. She was only twenty-one.

William and Victoria were both puzzled by Dalton's attitude.

Dalton had been cruel before, but now he was completely different.

Dalton turned around and sat back on the couch. He rested his elbow on the small round table next to the armrest, his fingers supporting his forehead. His other hand lifted up and gently swung. "You all can go now. I'm a little tired."

Ava was delighted and immediately took hold of William's arm, whispering, "Let's go quickly."

While Dalton hadn't changed his mind yet, William had to leave immediately.

Victoria also grabbed William's other arm.

The two girls saved William, leaving only Dalton and John in the living room.

After placing the wooden stick correctly, John poured a cup of coffee, approached Dalton, and said, "Mr. Bennett, Mrs. Bennett just called and said she won't be coming back tonight. She's staying at her sister's place."

Dalton sighed softly, "As long as she's happy."

"Mr. Bennett, is your headache coming back? Do you need to see a doctor?"

Dalton declined, saying, "No, I'm fine. Leave me alone."

John no longer bothered him. He bowed slightly and then left.

Only Dalton was left in the empty living room. He felt lonely.

After the three of them walked out of the villa, Ava stopped and raised her hand to gently touch William's forehead, asking, "Does your wound hurt? Let's go to the hospital and get it bandaged."
The blood on his forehead had already coagulated.

William shook his head and said worriedly, "I'm fine. But Ava, you..."

Ava suddenly felt dizzy. She held her forehead and stumbled, almost falling down.

William held her waist, stabilizing her body, and worriedly asked, "Ava, what's wrong with you?"

Ava shook her head. "I'm fine, just a bit dizzy."

"Are you feeling unwell? You seemed a bit uncomfortable when you arrived today," Victoria said.

"Really?" William became even more concerned. "Then why didn't you tell me earlier? You even insisted on talking to my father. Come on, I'll take you to the hospital."

Ava instinctively wanted to refuse but suddenly thought about her pregnancy. Worried about the safety of her child, she nodded without rejecting.
