Chapter 483 As Clear As Day

"Ava." Dalton walked over. "Do you want to come home with me? We can't go in to be with William now. We can only wait for news."

He could tell that Ava's care for William was genuine and sincere.

Ava turned her head and said, "You can go rest. I'll stay here at the hospital. Someone has to keep watch."

Dalton said, "I'll stay here. You can go back."

"But I want to stay here," Ava said, "I want to be here with William. Even if I can't go in, at least I want to watch him."

Witnessing Ava's determination to stay, Dalton nodded. "Alright, I shall stay here as well."

Dalton would also be upset if he went back.

Brandon said, "Let Ava stay here with William. You can stay at a hotel nearby. If there's anything, you can come over immediately. It's unnecessary to stay at the hospital. After all, we can't enter the ward now."

"Yeah, Mom, Dad," Vicky also said, "You've been on the road for a long time. You must be tired. Go rest first."

Dalton nodded wearily. "Alright, we will go to a nearby hotel to rest for a while. Call us immediately if anything happens."

"Okay." Vicky nodded. "You guys go rest."

They departed shortly thereafter.
Vicky glanced at Ava, finding her still fixated on the figure in the intensive care unit, unwavering and unlikely to depart anytime soon.

She glanced at Brandon and whispered, "Uncle, can we talk alone?"

Brandon nodded, and the two went to a place where no one was around. Brandon instructed the bodyguard to watch over and not let anyone approach.

"Did you receive my message last night? The red mole on Ava's back, such a coincidence. Do you think your speculation holds any truth?"

Brandon sighed. "Ava is so much like her mother. Moreover, with the red mole on her back, she must be Richard's daughter."

Upon seeing Ava, coupled with the knowledge of her being adopted by her parents, Brandon had essentially reached a firm conclusion.

Now, with the red mole on her back, the truth was as clear as day.

"Should we do a DNA test? I can try to get Ava's hair."

"However, Richard has been dead for so many years. Ava's own mother is also nowhere to be found."

Vicky suddenly had a realization. "Then let's test your and Ava's DNA. If you two are in an uncle-niece relationship, it would also be revealed."

"There's no need to test," Brandon said, "It's already certain now. There's no need for extra steps. There aren't so many coincidences in the world. She must be Richard's daughter."

Vicky slumped despondently on the couch. "So, what do we do now? William and Ava are practically cousins."
"Yeah," Brandon echoed, his expression troubled, "I never anticipated things would escalate to this extent. If I had met Ava earlier, maybe I could have prevented their marriage. However, now, it seems they are deeply in love. We might have to separate yet another couple."
"Uncle." Vicky wanted to speak honestly with him, but she was unsure whether she should.

"What's wrong?" Brandon saw Vicky hesitating and knew she was hiding something. "You can tell me directly if there's something."

" Uncle, I can tell you, but could you keep it between us? My parents don't know about this."
