Chapter 815 I Wanted you to save Alexander

"Alexander!" Madison cried, tears streaming down her face. "Why are you doing this to me?"

She wanted to chase after him but felt too weak.

"Why did I fall for a guy like you?" she muttered.

Madison was confused. They'd only met a few times, so why was she so torn up?

"Why did you fall? Poor girl. Let me help you up."

A man suddenly appeared, helping her off the ground.

Madison looked up, confused. "Who are you?"

"Lie down first, and I'll explain."

Eason helped her to the bed and tucked her in.

Madison wiped her tears, feeling uneasy as Eason smirked. "Who the hell are you?"

"Remember that email?" Eason asked.

Her heart skipped a beat. "You sent that?"

Eason nodded. "Yeah."

"Why?" she asked.

"I wanted you to save Alexander."

Madison was shocked. "Save him? Do you know he almost died? What's going on?"

Eason explained, "I knew he might die. That's why I contacted you."

"Who are you?" Madison seemed scared.

Eason quickly poured her some water. "Calm down. Let me explain."

After drinking, Madison felt a bit better.

Eason sat beside her. "Alexander must've told you about his ex-wife, right?"

Madison nodded. "Yeah, what's your connection to Mr. Mitchell?"

"It's complicated. We were close, but I messed up, and he cut ties with me," Eason sighed.

"So, you were good friends?" Madison asked.

"Yeah, and that's why the break was so complete. He doesn't want to see me, so I had to help him this way."

"Help him? How?" Madison was puzzled.

"Did he tell you his ex-wife is now married to someone else?" Eason asked.

Madison nodded. "Yes."

"She hates him and has tried to kill him," Eason said seriously.

"What?" Madison was shocked. "How could that be?"

"A betrayed woman can do anything. She wants Alexander to pay," Eason explained.

"But Mr. Mitchell apologized. He knows he was wrong," Madison said.

"An apology isn't always enough," Eason interrupted. "Not all mistakes can be forgiven."

"I warned Alexander about his ex-wife, but he wouldn't listen. He was too infatuated, willing to get hurt or even die for her," Eason continued.

Madison started to understand. "So, his near-death experience was because of his ex-wife?"

"Yes," Eason said seriously.

"How do you know all this?" Madison asked.

"Because I was his friend. I tried to stop him, but he was determined to win her back. I guessed what she would do, so I contacted you, thinking you could save him," Eason explained.

Madison was overwhelmed. "Why did you think I could save him? I didn't even know him then."
