Chapter 840 Proposing Conditions
Chat logs showed that Ava and Eason were tight, like really close.
Eason: [Yo, I got my own lab now. You gotta come check it out when you get a chance. I wanna show off my stuff.]
Ava: [No way, Eason, that's awesome! I'll definitely swing by when I'm back.]
Eason: [Cool, I'll be waiting. How's life abroad? Everything good?]
Ava: [Yeah, everything's smooth. No worries.]
Eason: [How's William doing? His memory coming back?]
Ava: [He's getting there. Treatment's going well.]
Eason: [You must be stoked.]
Ava: [Totally. If William gets his memory back, I'd be over the moon. He lost it 'cause of me, so I'm sticking with him no matter what.]
Eason: [Glad to hear you and William are doing great. You happy with him?]
Ava: [Yeah, super happy.]
Eason: [William's a good guy. Hope you two stay happy forever.]
Ava: [Thanks for the good vibes. Gotta run, heading out with William.]
Alexander kept scrolling through the chat logs.
There were so many messages, it made his head spin, almost overwhelming him.
But no matter how he read it, every word showed how happy and content Ava was now.
He tried hard to find his name in these numerous chat logs, but not once did she mention him.
He had completely disappeared from her world, not even worthy of a mention.
Madison stood to the side, watching Alexander's face grow increasingly desperate, feeling heartbroken.
Alexander still couldn't let Ava go. She hadn't realized how deeply he felt for Ava.
He even wanted to read Ava's chat logs with Eason.
It seemed that no other woman could enter his heart.
She really wanted to meet Ava in person.
Although she had only seen Ava in photos, she wanted to see her in person. She wanted to understand what kind of woman could make Alexander love her so much.
She even wanted to compare herself to her.
Madison knew this wasn't right, but she couldn't control herself.
If people's thoughts could be easily controlled, there wouldn't be so many sad things in this world.
Alexander lowered his hand, the phone dangling precariously from his fingers.
Eason quickly took the phone back, "You're done reading, are you satisfied now?"
Alexander's tall body seemed unsteady, swaying slightly.
Madison quickly stepped forward to support him. "What's wrong? Are you sick?"
Alexander pushed her away. "I'm fine."
"Eason, tell me, where is Ava now?" Alexander felt a surge of impulsive emotion.
"She's in Stellaria, with William, helping him with his treatment," Eason replied.
"Where is she in Stellaria?" Alexander pressed, "Give me the exact address. You know it, don't you? Tell me!"
"Why should I tell you?" Eason's eyes widened, his whole body resistant. "That's Ava's privacy. If she doesn't tell you, how can I?"
Alexander unbuttoned two buttons on his shirt, revealing his collarbone, his chest heaving with heavy breaths. "You can ask for anything in exchange."
This seemed like a tempting offer.
Eason's eyes flickered, as if he was tempted.
But soon, he shook his head seriously. "No, I can't betray Ava for this."
