Chapter 465 The Consultation Results
Brandon's gaze fell on Ava again. Seeing her appearance, he knew she must have been under a lot of pressure.
"Don't worry. I'm here with you, and I won't let anyone cause trouble for you again. I've brought in some top doctors to consult on your brother's condition."
Ava stared at the man in front of her, somehow feeling a mixed sense of both familiarity and unfamiliarity. But she was sure she had never met him before. However, this man looked tall and dignified, and even the police treated him with respect. He was not an ordinary person.
"Ava, right?" Brandon looked at Ava. Vicky had already explained the situation to him over the phone before he came.
Ava nodded.
"I will investigate William's situation thoroughly and find out the exact circumstances of this accident. You are now his wife, and according to the law, you have the right to make medical decisions for him. So, what are you thinking now?"
Brandon looked very calm, almost to the point of indifference.
But Ava could feel that he was someone who could handle important matters. So, she wouldn't panic no matter what happened. It was better to remain calm in important matters.
Ava took a deep breath and said, "Even if the hope is slim, I don't want to give up on William. You just said you brought in other doctors for consultation. I also want to hear what the other doctors have to say."
Brandon nodded in satisfaction. "Alright, then let's wait for the results together."
The doctors Brandon brought in were in the conference room studying William's case, which would take some time.
Ava had no choice but to wait patiently.
After learning about the incident where Ava was pressured for organ donation, the hospital director immediately took action and apologized to Ava.
The hospital assured her that they had not leaked any information about Ava and William, and they didn't know why those family members came.
However, Ava didn't believe them at all.
If it weren't for the doctor telling Alexander before, how would he have found her?
Only they themselves knew whether they had disclosed it privately.
If everyone followed the rules, there would be no need for police in this world.
With the situation having escalated to this extent, the hospital administration found themselves in a quandary, no longer daring to broach the subject of persuading Ava to sign the consent form.
An hour and a half later, the doctors' consultation results were out.
Ava, Vicky, and Brandon went to the conference room and had another half-hour discussion.
The consulting doctors provided detailed information about William's condition.
The final diagnosis from these doctors was similar to that of the hospital's doctors. William was in a coma, with a slim chance of waking up.
Currently, there was no good solution. If he were forced to undergo a brain surgery, there was a high probability of him dying on the operating table.
Brandon was not satisfied with this result.
The doctors said they would continue their research.
Ava returned to William's ward, sat by his bedside, held his hand, and silently watched him.
Vicky and Brandon stood outside the door.
Just as Brandon was about to enter, Vicky said, "Brandon, let Ava be alone with my brother. If William were conscious, he would surely want to be alone with her."
Brandon nodded. "Okay. Let's find a place to sit for a while, and you can tell me about Ava."
