Ava's mind kept replaying the scenes from the video. She closed her eyes and suddenly felt a headache, her heart rate also accelerated.

"Yes, I did say a few things, but I was stating facts. What did he give you for marrying you? Are you happy taking care of him all the time?"
"It's better than being with you." Ava's breathing became rapid. "Alexander, you're really too much. Do you realize how much your words hurt a man's self-esteem? He didn't choose to be like this and he was in a lot of pain. He was severely injured, and the murder hasn't been caught yet. You know he almost died. How can you be so harsh?"
