Chapter 646 Want to Change the Price

The people in the back seats exchanged glances.

After thinking for a moment, the man with the phone said, "A fifty million dollar check, not a penny less."

"Deal!" Brandon said, "Give me an address, and I'll send the cash over immediately. Money for the person."

Surprised by Brandon's quick agreement, Leonard suddenly changed his mind. "Seems like you really care about your niece. I've changed my mind; I want to raise the price."

"Don't push your luck," Brandon said coldly.

"You think I'm pushing my luck? Your niece is worth way more than just fifty million dollars. I want half a billion."

"Alright, I'll give it to you." Brandon just wanted to ensure Ava's safety.

Brandon's quick agreement made Leonard suspicious. "You're so quick to promise money. Are you calling the cops?"

"I have plenty of money. Right now, I only care about my niece's safety," Brandon said, holding back his anger. "No matter how much you want, the deal is that she stays safe. You snatched her, so you must know who she is. Use your head. She's got some heavy hitters in her corner. If I find out she's been hurt when she comes home, mark my words, it won't just be on you, but your kinfolk and kids too."

"Damn it, are you threatening me?" the man said angrily.

"I'm just negotiating with you," Brandon said. "I believe you're smart. If it's just about the money, there's no need to go to extremes. Money for the person, you run, and it's over. There's no need to escalate things for a moment's desire. Smart kidnappers keep the hostage safe to cash in on the ransom."

"Bro, don't talk to him for too long, or things might get complicated," his sidekick reminded him.

Leonard thought for a moment and then said, "I'll get back to you. If you dare call the cops, not only will I kill your niece, but before that, I'll have all my brothers here rape her!"

With that, he immediately hung up the phone and smashed it with a hammer, throwing it out the car window.

Leonard grabbed Ava's hair. "You're really valuable. Your uncle just gave us a big gift."

Ava's scalp hurt, but she didn't scream. She knew that the more emotional and louder she got, the more agitated these people would become, making it harder to guarantee their actions.

The stench from Leonard's mouth made Ava nauseous. She suppressed her discomfort and said, "That's right, I'm your big gift. If I'm okay, you'll get a lot of money."

Releasing her hair, the man warned, "Bitch, if we don't get the money, you're dead."

After the call ended, Brandon's assistant immediately informed him, "Sir, the signal is lost. The phone must have been destroyed."

Brandon turned serious. Just then, William hurried over. "What happened?"

Brandon, not wanting William to worry, immediately replied, "It's nothing, I..."

"Don't keep me in the dark. What's up with Ava? Spill it!"

William must have heard something. Brandon had no choice but to tell him the truth.

When William heard that Ava had been kidnapped, he almost fainted.

"So, Ava contacted you instead of me?"

Brandon said, "Maybe because you lost your memory, and contacting me is more useful. I can..."

"Who could be more helpful than her husband?" William wasn't jealous of Brandon; he was just upset that Ava hadn't reached out to him at a critical moment. Did she really care for him?

"William," Brandon said seriously, "is this really the time to argue about this?"

Brandon's words snapped William out of it. "You're right, no point in squabbling. Uncle, we need to find a way to save her."

Brandon suggested, "Then let's split up. You prepare a five hundred million dollar check, and I'll mobilize the team."

William nodded, "No problem."

Saving Ava was the priority; everything else could wait.

William then left to prepare the cash.

Brandon picked up his phone and dialed a number.

"Hello, Mr. King, I need your help with something urgent."
