Chapter 1203 Being the Scapegoat

Alexander was about to speak, but he remembered that he had important matters to discuss today and couldn't focus on Bishop.

"Ava, I have something important to tell you. Can we talk privately?"

"Just say whatever you need to say." She knew Alexander wanted Bishop to leave, but she didn't mind Bishop knowing anything.

Alexander gave Bishop a cold glance and continued, "This is about my grandmother. I don't want any outsiders present. It has to be just the two of us."

Ava retorted, "He's not an outsider. He can know about Scarlett's matter too."

Seeing that they were about to argue, Bishop quickly said, "I'll take Sunny out for a walk and come back later."

With that, Bishop walked out.

Ava hurriedly said, "Bishop, you don't need to..."

"It's okay," Bishop interrupted her. "I'll take Sunny downstairs for a walk."

Bishop left with Sunny.

Ava took a step back and said to Alexander, "Come in."

After Alexander entered, Ava closed the door and said, "We've already thoroughly discussed your grandmother's matter. I know who the killer is. If you don't believe me, there's nothing I can do. You..."

"My grandmother was murdered," Alexander interrupted her.

Ava was stunned, "What?"

"The killer has been caught. It's Emily."

"You know about this?" Ava asked, "What about Madison?"

Why did Alexander only mention Emily and not Madison?

Alexander took out his phone from his pocket and played a conversation between Madison and Emily.

Ava was taken aback after listening.

"Where did you get this recording?"

"Madison gave it to me. She accused Emily."

Hearing this, Ava was stunned for a few seconds, then suddenly laughed.

Seeing her laugh, Alexander asked coldly, "What's so funny? This is a serious matter. Haven't you always wanted to find the killer? Now the killer has been found."

"Alexander, you don't really think Madison has nothing to do with this, do you?"

Clearly, Madison was too guilty and worried about being exposed, so she acted first and pushed Emily out as a scapegoat. Madison's act of sacrificing her own family was truly hypocritical.

Both Madison and Emily deserved to be punished. Emily's evil was easy to see, but Madison's evil was deeply hidden. Even those around her found it hard to detect because Madison disguised herself with weakness and morality.

"Whether Madison is involved or not, I will investigate. For now, it's confirmed that Emily is involved. She has admitted it herself. I will continue to investigate Madison. If I find evidence linking her to this, I won't let her go either. I came here today to tell you this and to apologize. I misunderstood you before."

Alexander wanted to seize any opportunity to see Ava.

"Misunderstood me?" Ava sneered, "I said before that this involved both Madison and Emily. Now you're telling me it was Emily, clearly trying to prove that Madison is not involved. You don't fully believe me, or you wouldn't say such things."

"Ava, are you one hundred percent sure that Madison is involved in this?"

"Yes, I'm one hundred percent sure. Both Madison and Emily killed your grandmother. Madison is just too guilty now, so she's using her cousin Emily as a scapegoat to clear her name. Alexander, when will you open your eyes and see the true nature of the people around you?"
