Chapter 1148 Make Her Fried Eggs
"Bishop, why are you up?"
She wanted to bring breakfast to his room for him to eat.
Bishop saw Alexander in the living room and immediately realized something.
"I'm fine, I feel much better."
Ava helped Bishop to a chair, "You need more rest now. After you eat, take your medicine."
Bishop nodded and responded, "I know."
Ava then said to Bishop, "Alexander called a doctor to treat you last night. You should thank him."
Bishop glanced at Alexander and said, "Thank you."
"It's nothing, I did it for Ava, not for you."
Alexander was quite candid.
Bishop smiled faintly.
"Alright, let's have breakfast."
Ava didn't want to make the atmosphere awkward.
The three of them quietly ate breakfast.
Ava gave her fried egg to Bishop.
"Bishop, you should eat more." His body needed proper nourishment.
Seeing this, Alexander gave his fried egg to Ava.
Ava returned the fried egg to Alexander, "It's okay, you eat. I'll eat something else. You two should eat more."
Bishop gave the fried egg back to Ava, "The three of us should each have one, or I won't eat."
Ava smiled awkwardly, "Alright then."
Otherwise, passing the eggs back and forth would never end.
The three of them quietly finished breakfast.
Ava got up to clear the dishes.
Alexander quickly said, "Let me do it."
Ava responded, "You sit down, I'll handle it."
At that moment, Sunny started crying again.
Ava was about to go over but remembered how well Alexander had soothed Sunny last night, so she said, "Why don't you check on Sunny?"
"Alright." Alexander was also worried about Sunny, so he went to the room and picked her up. Sunny quickly stopped crying.
Bishop turned to Ava and whispered, "When are you going to tell him the truth?"
Ava smiled helplessly, "I don't know."
Bishop didn't press further, "Let me help you clean up."
"No need, you sit down, I'll do it."
Ava stacked the dishes and took them to the kitchen.
Bishop saw the two of them, one soothing Sunny and the other doing chores, while he sat there injured, feeling quite embarrassed.
A phone rang, and Alexander answered, "Hello."
Gradually, Alexander's expression changed, "What did you say?"
He immediately put Sunny in the cradle and rushed out of the room, heading to the kitchen, "Ava, something's wrong."
Sunny started crying again, but Alexander couldn't worry about that now.
Ava came out of the kitchen, "What's wrong?"
Alexander's face was pale, his eyes red, and he said trembling, "Grandma, she... she passed away."
Ava stood there in a daze, as if her soul had been sucked out, turning her into a puppet.
She stood there, eyes wide open, not moving, thinking she was in a nightmare.
The hospital was filled with the sound of crying.
Ava collapsed into Scarlett's arms, sobbing uncontrollably.
Alexander stood nearby holding Sunny, tears streaming down his face.
George and Mia were also present.
The entire place was enveloped in a sorrowful atmosphere.
"Grandma, how could this happen? Grandma, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I should have stayed with you."
