Chapter 725 Everyone Saw It

In the hospital room, William kept yawning.

'Where did Ava go? Why isn't she back yet?'

'Vicky, where exactly did you take Ava?'

The more William thought about it, the more uneasy he felt. He was worried Ava might have gone to see Alexander. 'If she meets Alexander, will he tell her what happened? Will Ava believe it?'

The thought made William's heart pound.

The caregiver was dozing off at the door. William glanced at the phone on the sofa and carefully tried to get out of bed.

Suddenly, a hand grabbed his arm. Eason smiled at him. "Don't move, or I'll tell Ava."

"Let go of me," William said angrily.

The caregiver at the door suddenly opened her eyes and perked up.

"Okay, I'll let go," Eason said, releasing his hand. "But if you get down, I'll tell Ava. I'm her favorite brother, and I'll definitely take her side."

Eason's stubborn look made William want to kill him.

"I need to go to the bathroom. Don't you need to go?" William asked irritably.

"I don't. I didn't drink much water, so I can hold it." Eason yawned. "Let's sleep. It's rare to share a bed with someone, especially my newly recognized big brother."

As Eason spoke, he stretched out his long arm and hugged William.

William frowned. "Are you disgusting? Let go of me!"

"I won't let go. I want to hug you. It's so comfortable to sleep with you," Eason said in a teasing tone.

William was fed up with Eason. He flipped over and pinned Eason down. Just as he was about to throw a punch, a furious voice came from the doorway, "William, what are you doing?"

Hearing Ava's voice, William turned his head and saw Ava glaring at him angrily. He clenched his fist, suspended in mid-air, frozen in place.

Seeing Ava return, Eason immediately put on a pitiful expression and reached out to her for help. "Ava, save me, I'm so scared!"

Eason's tearful, pitiful posture was both tragic and moving. Ava immediately wheeled herself to the bedside.

She scolded, "William, you're too much. I was gone for just a short while, and you're already doing something so excessive?"

"Luckily, I came back in time. Otherwise, wouldn't Eason have been beaten black and blue by William?" Ava thought to herself.

William immediately withdrew his hand and sat up on the bed. "Ava, it's not what it looks like," William said, shrinking his neck.

"Then what is it?" Ava said angrily. "I saw with my own eyes that you were about to hit him. If I hadn't come back in time, your punch would have landed. Eason is nine years younger than you. How could you bring yourself to hit him? He's still a kid to you!"

Ava's relentless scolding made William feel wronged. He thought, "Clearly, it is Eason who provoked me with ill intentions, but to Ava, it seems like I'm bullying Eason!"

"How I wish to tell Ava that Eason is not a good person! But if I say it now, Ava won't believe me. It'll only make her angrier, and Eason will be pleased because it will drive a wedge between me and Ava."

"I won't let you be pleased, Eason!" William determined in his heart.

William suppressed his anger. Sensing the tension in the room, Vicky quickly said, "William, you should apologize to Eason. Ava is right, Eason is much younger than you. Even if he's being mischievous, you shouldn't resort to violence."
