Chapter 508 Let Them All Die

Upon hearing Eason's words, Ava was stunned for a moment. Then, she immediately turned serious. "Eason, how could you have such thoughts?"

Eason was taken aback. "Sister, are you angry? Did I say something wrong?"

"I am a little angry," Ava said. "Do you really think of me as someone who only measures others based on my own experiences?"

"Sister, that's not what I meant. Please don't misunderstand. You are the smartest person I've ever met."

He didn't think she was stupid at all. Everyone in the world was stupid, including Alexander,, William, and Isabella. However, he thought she was different. She was kind and beautiful, believing in him wholeheartedly. Even though he was deceiving her, he didn't think she was dumb. It was because she had a good heart that she trusted him, and he enjoyed being with her. He felt comfortable and wanted to be with her forever.

As for the others, let them perish and vanish without a trace!

Seeing Eason's panicked expression, Ava suddenly smiled, "Alright, I was just teasing you. I'm not angry. I want to tell you that I won't judge you in any way. How could I possibly think of you as an orphan? Everyone's experiences are different in this world, and I think you are strong. You have grown up so well, so smart and hardworking. You will definitely be successful in the future."

Eason's face turned slightly red, and he seemed shy. "Do you really think so, sister?"

"Of course, you are the smartest person I've ever met," Ava said seriously.

"Then, am I more intelligent than your ex-husband and current husband??"

Upon hearing these childish words, Ava glanced at the door of the ward and then leaned closer to Eason, whispering, "I think you are much smarter than them. Look at how clever and sharp you look. If you were a bad person, the world would be in danger."

Eason happily laughed, "You are smart, too."

He was indeed a bad person, and the world was indeed a bit dangerous. She had actually seen through him. Fortunately, she thought of him as a good younger brother, or else she would be upset.

"Alright, stop flattering me," Ava said with a smile, "I'm not as smart as you think. I'm just an ordinary person."

"No, you are not ordinary in my eyes. You are beautiful, gentle, and rich. I like you the most."

Ava raised her hand and gently rubbed his head, like petting a puppy. "I think you are just trying to please me by saying all these nice things."

She really treated Eason as her younger brother. In her eyes, Eason was indeed like a child. Even though he was only three years younger than her. Every time he called her sister with that cute tone, it made her feel like giving him some pocket money.

"I am not trying to win your favor. These are my heartfelt words, more genuine than gold," Eason stated earnestly.

"Alright, I believe you."

Ava's gentle demeanor was as moving as the warm sunshine in spring, leaving Eason in a daze.

"Sister, you are so beautiful, gentle, and kind. No wonder your husband is getting better. It seems like even God couldn't bear to see you cry."

It was Eason who couldn't bear to see her cry. Seeing her so sad broke his heart.

It was all William's fault. She considered him her best friend and even helped him through marriage. It showed how important William was to her, almost like a life-and-death relationship. If William died, she would definitely collapse.
