Chapter 1251 No More Random Shouting

"Ava, whether this child is born or not, she will pay for the crimes she has committed. I will never let her go. I'm really sorry for what happened before. I was too foolish not to believe you. Can you forgive me?"

Ava closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "I was very angry about this before, but now it's over. Everyone can be blinded at times. As long as you see her true colors now, that's enough. There's no need to say more. It's late, you should go back."

Alexander looked behind Ava. "Is Bishop not here?"

"He's already gone."

"What?" This was good news for Alexander. "Where did he go? Hasn't he come back yet?"

"That's none of your business. Alexander, today I brought evidence to the wedding and ruined your wedding with Madison, not because I think there's still a chance for us, but because she killed Scarlett and tried to kill my child. I want her to be punished."

"Ava, are you saying that even if Madison goes to jail, and Bishop has left, there's no chance for us?"

"Alexander, I've said this many times before, and I don't want to repeat it. We should live our own lives now, okay? You need to process what happened with Madison. Go back and rest well, you don't look good."

Alexander now looked a bit like a patient, his face full of sickness, and he seemed spiritless.

"Ava!" Alexander's breathing became more rapid. "I didn't really want to marry her. I don't want to be with her, Ava..."

Alexander suddenly grabbed her hand.

Ava forcefully shook it off. "Don't touch me!"

"Ava!"

Alexander suddenly fell to the ground.

Ava was startled and squatted down. "Alexander, what's wrong?"

"Ava, I'm so tired, I'm really so tired." Alexander slowly closed his eyes.

"Alexander, Alexander?"

Ava reached out and touched his forehead, it was frighteningly hot.

After struggling to lift Alexander onto the bed, Ava took off his shoes and coat, and wiped his face and hands with a towel.

Sunny lay in the cradle, looking at them with big, bright eyes, making cooing sounds. "Mommy... Uncle Alex."

Ava heard the noise, turned around, and saw Sunny awake. She walked over and picked Sunny up from the cradle.

"Baby, why are you awake? Did I wake you?"

"Uncle, Uncle Alex."

Sunny pointed at Alexander on the bed.

Ava was a bit surprised. "You called him uncle?"

She remembered that Sunny used to call everyone daddy.

But now, it had changed to uncle, no more random daddies.

Ava kissed Sunny on the cheek and whispered in his ear, "He is your daddy, you can call him daddy. Don't call anyone else daddy anymore, okay?"

Sunny leaned against Ava's chest, obediently sucking his fingers.

Ava placed Sunny next to Alexander. "Sunny, stay here with the patient. I'm going to wash the towel and get some fever medicine."

After Ava left, Sunny was beside Alexander, gently patting his face with his small hand. "Daddy, daddy."

Alexander seemed to hear someone calling him daddy. His tired body felt a surge of intense happiness, prompting him to slowly open his eyes.

His vision was blurry at first, but gradually, he saw a child sitting beside him.
