Chapter 952 Betraying Trust
She didn't give a damn anymore. Whether the doc called the cops or not, all she cared about was keeping Vincent alive.
If he died here, it was game over.
Vincent lifted his hand, gently brushing her face and wiping away her tears. "Don't cry. We're not that close anyway. Even if I die, it's no big deal."
"No, I won't let you die. I can't! Vincent, hang in there. Please, just hang in there."
"If I die, I can be with my sister. Don't be sad. Looks like both these guys love you. But I hope you find happiness. Don't let their love trap you. Ava, don't trust men too much."
"Bishop, open your eyes, open your eyes!" Ava desperately tried to keep his eyes open.
She gritted her teeth and, using every ounce of strength, lifted Vincent onto her back. "I'm taking you to the hospital. You won't die. I won't let you die! Christina won't let you die either!"
Alexander snapped out of his shock and stepped forward, "Ava."
"Get away!" Ava shouted, "Don't touch him, Alexander. I told you to stop, why didn't you listen? And you, William, you shouldn't have shot without knowing the situation. Both of you went too far!"
She was furious, on the verge of breaking down, her voice shaking with anger. Her eyes blazed with fury, her pale face cold and intense. Her brows furrowed, lips pressed tight, radiating an aura that sent chills down their spines.
Alexander and William had rarely seen Ava like this.
They even saw hatred in her eyes.
"Ava, I was trying to save you," William said frantically. "How could I have known he saved you? This is all just a misunderstanding. I didn't mean to."
"Get out of the way. I don't want to talk to you. Move!" Ava's body was frail, but she was determined to carry Vincent out. His blood soaked his clothes.
Ava's face was pale, covered in blood and sweat. She gritted her teeth and turned her head, "Vincent, I won't let you die. I absolutely won't. Christina wants you to live well and be happy. Don't die!"
"Ava," Alexander stepped forward, "Give him to me. I'll save him."
Ava stopped and looked up, "Really? Will you really save him?"
"I will. Ava, I'll put him in the car and find a doctor to save him," Alexander replied.
Things had come to this point, and Alexander had no choice but to make this decision.
But Ava was hesitant to trust him.
She had trusted Alexander once, given him the gun, and he had immediately surrounded Vincent, intending to kill him. He had betrayed her trust.
Could she trust him again?
Seeing this, William seized the moment and stepped forward.
"Ava, I'll save him. I won't let him die. I didn't know he saved you. If I had known, I wouldn't have shot. I'll find the best doctor to save him."
Then William barked orders, "What are you all standing around for? Get Vincent into the car, stop the bleeding, and get him to the hospital alive!"
