Chapter 667 I Have Manners

"You better think it through. You can only come alone. If I see anyone else with you, I'll cut her belly open right away and take out what's inside..."

At this point, the man suddenly paused, throwing a loaded glance at Ava.

Ava's heart pounded violently. 'Is he about to tell Alexander that I'm pregnant?'

He continued, "You can imagine the rest yourself."

"I won't bring anyone," Alexander said, keeping his boiling rage in check. "Don't hurt her. I'll do as you say."

"Good, I'll send you the address now. You better behave."

The fierce look on the man's face made Ava extremely agitated. "Alexander, don't come!"

As soon as she finished, the man hung up.

He walked up to Ava, grabbed her chin, and lifted her head. "In your current state, you still want to protect your ex-husband?"

"You didn't tell him I'm pregnant. Why?"

The man had just mentioned cutting her belly open, and it was obvious that he meant to take out the baby inside her, but he stopped and said nothing more.

If Alexander knew she was pregnant, she didn't know if he would lose control. So, in this situation, it would be better for him not to know. He was already worried enough.

"How can I put this?" The man chuckled softly. "It's your secret. I'm not the type to spill the beans. I'm very civilized. So you can tell me if you have any secrets. If you don't want me to share, I absolutely won't tell anyone."

His voice was steady, giving off a very reliable feeling.

If she hadn't seen what he had done with her own eyes, she would have been easily fooled by his voice.

"What do you plan to do to Alexander? Can you tell me?"

Ava's voice softened, no longer filled with resentment. Since he had said he preferred a gentle approach, she wouldn't be foolish enough to confront him directly.

"I don't know yet." Indeed, hearing her soft voice, the man released her face and said, "These things require improvisation on the spot. I don't like planning ahead."

Ava asked, "So, you're saying you do everything without a plan and just think on the fly, right?"

"Bingo, including killing those kidnappers."

Ava said, "That means you were watching me, so you knew I was kidnapped. Or maybe you were the mastermind behind those kidnappers, and they just didn't know it."

"Oh, that's harsh," the man said unhappily. "I have nothing to do with those kidnappers. I wouldn't do anything so base."

"Really? Then what's this all about?" Ava gestured at herself. "And what's with these ropes on me?"

"I actually saved you, and you're blaming me." The man shook his head helplessly. "If you were more obedient, I wouldn't have tied you up."

Ava almost laughed out of disbelief. This guy was truly baffling. Perverts are like this.

Just then, Ava saw Evelyn crawling painfully out of another room, covered in blood.

"Help me."

Upon seeing Evelyn in this state, Ava quickly averted her eyes. She wasn't a fan of gory scenes, they made her stomach churn.
