Ava gently said, "I will often bring Sunny to see Grandma. If Grandma wakes up and still remembers me, I will often accompany her."
Alexander stood up holding Sunny and said, "Ava, it's very late. Let me take you back to rest. Sunny is also tired and can't stay in the hospital all the time. Besides, Sunny is too young and has a weak immune system. It's not good for her to stay in the hospital for too long."
Ava nodded, "Okay."

Ava was about to take Sunny, but Alexander said, "Let me hold her. I'll give her to you once we're in the car."
He saw that Ava was very tired, and Sunny wasn't light. Holding her for a long time would be exhausting.

Ava didn't say much, "Alright then."
Alexander walked alongside her. As they walked, Ava asked, "How are Madison and Emily?"
"I didn't let them come. I can't take care of them right now, so they can do whatever they want."
"Alexander," Ava said, "I feel like something's not right about Grandma falling down the stairs."
Ava's words made Alexander frown, "Why do you think something's not right?"
"Why was it Madison and Emily who heard the noise?"
Hearing Ava's words, Alexander said, "Ava, do you think they are suspects?"
"I don't know. I just feel something's off."
Her intuition kept telling her that things weren't as they seemed, but she had no evidence, so she couldn't say anything rashly.
"Ava, I think it's unlikely. I believe Madison is telling the truth. Their rooms are close to the stairs. It's very possible they heard the noise and came out to see Grandma falling. If you think they are suspects, it means they caused Grandma to fall, but they have no motive."
From what he knew about Madison, she wouldn't do such a thing. She was kind and gentle, not capable of such a malicious act.
Seeing Alexander defend Madison, although he appeared calm and didn't react much, deep down, he was still protecting Madison.
Ava had no evidence now, so she couldn't insist that Madison was involved.
She didn't want to argue with Alexander about this.
"Alright, let's wait until Grandma wakes up."
Alexander responded, "Once Grandma wakes up, we'll know what really happened. The doctor said Grandma is recovering well."
As they walked out of the hospital, Madison and Emily were hiding in a corner.
They had been secretly following Ava and Alexander, listening to their conversation.
Madison's palms were sweating.
"We were right," Emily said through gritted teeth. "That bitch Ava is talking nonsense in front of Alexander, trying to pin this on us."
While they accused Ava of framing them, both of them knew very well that they were indeed responsible for what happened. They were just pretending otherwise.
