Chapter 594 Hurting Others Maliciously
Alexander seemed to have made up his mind.
Isabella looked shocked and immediately became uneasy. She said, "Alex, wouldn't this be too much of a bother for Ava and..."
"I think it's fine," William suddenly interrupted Isabella.
Ava's heart skipped a beat. She turned her head and looked at William in astonishment.
William faced Alexander, raised his head slightly, and said, "You're right. Such an opportunity is indeed rare."
Then, he looked at Ava. "Ava, is that okay?"
"William, I..." She wanted to say no, but William held her hand tightly and looked at her with expectation and plea.
From his eyes, Ava saw the message he was trying to convey. She strongly felt that if she disagreed with William, even if they left today, William would definitely overthink things when they got back.
Ava pondered, 'Rather than letting him be secretly unhappy, it was better to let him vent today to avoid him troubling himself.'
Ava stared into William's eyes and gently nodded.
Alexander frowned slightly. Seeing William and Ava communicate with their eyes so seamlessly, Alexander felt that his heart was on fire, burning and painful. However, he forced himself to remain calm.
Ava turned her head and said to Alexander, "Alright then."
Seeing that both Ava and William agreed, Isabella was very unpleasant. She wanted to say something, but when she turned to look at Alexander, she knew that this matter was already set in stone. She couldn't change it, and saying more would make her seem petty. She now understood Alexander's feelings towards her, so Isabella didn't dare to challenge him.
Previously, she had said some things that angered him, which had already exhausted his patience. Now, even in this situation, she could only endure and didn't dare to say much.
The manager, seeing that the guests had privately resolved the matter perfectly, breathed a sigh of relief.
Then, the manager led them to a quiet, private booth.
As soon as they sat down, Ava said, "I want to go to the restroom. William, can you come with me?"
"Sure." William followed Ava out.
Isabella glanced at Alexander secretly and said, "It seems like they have a good relationship, even going to the restroom together."
She seemed to hurt Alexander maliciously by saying that, but she believed it was true and saw no reason not to say it.
Alexander's face remained cold, "You go ahead and order."
Isabella felt his coldness and awkwardly smiled. "Let's wait for Ava and William to come back. We can order together."
She particularly emphasized "Ava and William," as if reminding Alexander.
Alexander didn't say much and waited quietly.
In a secluded place, Ava stopped. "William, are you upset?" She asked him seriously, "Tell me the truth."
After a moment of silence, William nodded. "To be honest, I am a bit upset. Running into your ex-husband here, and you're still carrying his child, it makes me feel uncomfortable."
Ava was speechless.
William lowered his eyes. "I'm sorry, Ava. I know it's not your fault."
He stepped forward and held her hand. "When I say I'm uncomfortable, it's because I feel it's unfair to you. It's not that I have any issues with you. I think that man must have deeply hurt you. He and that woman must have had inappropriate behavior while you were still married, right?"
