Chapter 1192 Invisible Eyes

Ava immediately asked, "What's the problem?"

Bishop clenched his fist and knocked again, saying, "There's something inside."

Then, he looked around and found a hammer on the ground, bent down to pick it up.

"Ava, step back a bit."

"Okay." Ava stepped back and held Sunny tightly in her arms, worried about scaring him.

Bishop took the hammer and struck the wall.

Bishop hit a few times with force, and the wall suddenly crumbled. The outer layer of cement shattered and fell to the ground, revealing a small opening.

"It seems like there's something inside the wall." Bishop struck the edges with the hammer, making the opening larger, and finally revealed an item inside—a small safe. The wall was thin, and the safe was also small.

Ava saw the safe and felt a surge of excitement, quickly stepping forward, "Could my bracelet be inside?"

Bishop said, "Let me open it and see."

Bishop took the safe out of the wall.

The safe had a lock, but it didn't look very sturdy. After all, it was small and hidden in the wall, almost impossible to find.

Bishop used the hammer to break the lock directly.

The safe was opened, but there was no bracelet inside, only a note.

Bishop took out the note and saw the handwriting on it.

"The bracelet isn't safe here, I'll keep it for you and give it back another day."

Ava took the note and saw the writing on it, her face showing shock, "Who is this?"

Bishop frowned, "It seems someone has been here before us and took the bracelet."

Bishop looked at the note, it didn't seem to have been there long, as it looked very new and the handwriting was clear, not like it had been there for a long time.

"Who could it be?" Ava wondered, "Does anyone else know about the bracelet? Could it be related to Evelyn?"

Bishop thought for a moment, "I don't think Evelyn has the capability. If she really took the bracelet, she would have done it long ago. This note looks new, someone must have come before us. That person definitely knows you and knows about your situation."

Ava felt a chill, "Who could it be?"

Bishop pondered and said, "It's likely the person who emailed you, telling you that Alexander didn't have cancer."

Ava's heart skipped a beat, "That makes some sense."

She still didn't know who sent that email, couldn't find out, it was very mysterious. Now encountering this situation, who could it be?

Ava couldn't figure out how there could be such a person around her.

At this moment, a phone rang.

Ava was still holding Sunny, making it inconvenient to answer the phone.

Bishop quickly wiped the dust off his hands and took Sunny.

Ava picked up the phone and answered, putting it on speaker so Bishop could hear.

A man's voice came through the phone, cold and processed, not sounding like a normal person's voice.

"The bracelet is with me, it looks quite valuable and is custom-made."

"Who are you?" Ava asked, "When did you find out, and how did you get the bracelet before us?"

"Did you forget me so quickly?" The man chuckled lightly.

Ava went through everyone she knew in her mind, but couldn't figure out who this man was.

"Who are you? I don't know you!"

She felt like there was an invisible pair of eyes watching her.
