Chapter 1290 Your Father

George lowered his head, looking at Eason kneeling on the ground, his heart filled with pain.

George closed his eyes in agony, wanting to say something, but the words failed him.

"Mom, why didn't you tell me who my dad is even after you died? Were you afraid I'd hate him? I did hate him, but now I'm all alone. How great it would be if I could find my biological father. Even though I'd be angry at him, I think I would still forgive him as long as he wants me as his son."

George opened his eyes, a glimmer of hope flashing in them. Finally, he couldn't hold back his emotions any longer.

"Eason, I am your father."

Eason turned his head to look at George, shock evident in his eyes. "What did you say?"

George knelt down on one knee, tightly holding his hand. "I am your biological father. I'm sorry, Eason, I only dare to admit it now."

"You are my biological father? Why, why is it you?" Eason was in disbelief.

"Eason, that day by the Golden Gate Bridge, I saw the photo in your wallet. That's when I suspected you were my son. I secretly did a paternity test, and you are indeed my son. That's why I got close to you, why I took you in as my godson, because you are my real son. Eason, I'm sorry, I was too cowardly. I was afraid you'd be angry with me, that you'd hate me, so I didn't dare to tell you the truth. But now, hearing you say you wouldn't hate me, I think if I don't tell you now, I'd be a real bastard."

Eason looked at him in shock, stumbling as he got up from the ground. "You are actually my biological father."

George stood up and said, "Eason, to make it up to you, I am willing to do anything, as long as you can forgive me. About your mother, I'm truly sorry. I didn't know she was pregnant. I really didn't know. If I had known, I wouldn't have abandoned her."

"Really? Is everything you said true?"

"Eason, I'm not lying to you."

Eason stepped forward and touched the tombstone. "Mom, did you see that? I actually found my biological father. It turns out he is the man you always kept a secret. You didn't want to tell me to protect him, didn't you? Mom, you were so foolish."

Suddenly, Eason pulled out a shovel from behind the tombstone and swung it at George.

George felt a sharp pain in his head, followed by dizziness, and he fell to the ground unconscious.

When George opened his eyes again, his hands and feet were bound, and he was lying in a pit, with piles of dirt being thrown on him.

He couldn't move, only able to watch as his body was gradually buried in dirt.

"Eason, what are you doing?"

"Dad, I wasn't joking about what I said earlier."

"What did you say?"

"I said, you should be buried with my mom. Stay here with her, hahaha."

Eason continued to shovel dirt.

"Eason, are you crazy? Are you going to kill me?"

"Isn't it good for you to keep my mom company?" Eason stabbed the shovel into the ground, gripping the handle with both hands, standing outside the pit and looking at him coldly. "You killed her. It's only fair to repay with your life."

"Eason, let me explain. I really didn't know your mom was pregnant. If I had known..."

"If you had known, you would have made her get an abortion." Eason interrupted him. "George, you scumbag, you deceived my mom, and now you want to deceive me. I'm not that stupid."
