Chapter 1164 Mutual Cooperation

When Ava drove into the underground garage, she took the elevator straight home.

As soon as she reached the door, she heard the sound of an argument inside.

"Eason, are you picking a fight again?"

"I'm not picking a fight, you started it by yelling at me."

"Don't think just because you're younger, I won't hit you."

Ava frowned. Just as she was about to go in and lose her temper, another voice chimed in, "If you two keep arguing, I'll beat both of you up."

It was Bishop's voice.

William sneered, "Bishop, why are you meddling?"

"Fighting here could hurt Ava. This is not meddling. Beating you two up is no big deal for me."

"If you dare touch me, Ava will definitely be mad at you!" Eason said angrily.

"Whether she's mad at me or not, I'll still have beaten you two up. You can try me if you don't believe it."

Ava immediately pressed the doorbell.

The three men rushed to open the door.

Ava stood outside, glaring at them coldly, then walked in.

"Are you planning to fight again?"

"Ava, we weren't going to fight. We were just talking. We won't actually fight." Eason stood obediently next to Ava, quickly changing the subject, "Ava, how did it go with Alexander? Did he bully you?"

"No, he left. How's dinner coming along?"

"We're on it, we're on it." Eason quickly ran into the kitchen.

Since they got back, they had been arguing and hadn't cooked or washed the vegetables.

Ava felt a headache coming on. "I'll cook."

"No need." William blocked her way. "Let me do it. I'll wash the vegetables now."

"If you argue in the kitchen again, I don't want to hear it. I really have a headache. If you can't stop, then just leave. Argue and fight all you want, I can't deal with you anymore."

For William, Ava's giving-up attitude made him even more anxious.

"Ava, from now on, I absolutely won't argue with Eason."

"You've said that many times." Ava said irritably, "Do whatever you want. If you want to fight, then fight."

She turned to Bishop, "How's Sunny?"

"Sunny is in the room," Bishop said.

"I'll go check on Sunny. You guys cook. Argue and fight all you want, I don't care anymore."

Ava turned and walked into the room, feeling very tired.

She sat by the cradle, gently rocking it. Sunny was awake, his attention captured by the little toys above him.

"Sunny, those grown men are not as well-behaved as you, a little baby."

The men in the kitchen stopped arguing. They quietly cooked and even cooperated with each other.

Ava checked on them several times. Seeing them getting along, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Although she knew they probably hated each other, at least in front of her, they were willing to pretend, which was a form of respect.

By eight o'clock, they finally finished cooking and set the table.

Ava smiled faintly.

They were quite capable in the kitchen.

When Ava came out, William and Eason were eager to claim which dishes they had made, each wanting to be first.

Bishop said nothing and didn't try to take credit in front of Ava.

"Alright, you both did great. There's no need to compete over this. I'm hungry, let's eat."
