Chapter 825 When to Tell William the Truth

Vicky showed up at Brandon's place all excited.

The servant told her Brandon was in his room.

Vicky dashed upstairs, knocked on the door, and called out, "Brandon."

Brandon opened the door, looking sharp in a suit. "What's up?"

"Ava had the baby! It's a boy, and they're both fine," Vicky said.

"Really?" Brandon was thrilled but quickly got serious. "Why didn't anyone tell me?"

"I'm telling you now," Vicky replied.

"I mean, why didn't William call me?" Brandon wondered if William was still upset about their last conversation.

"He asked me to tell you. Maybe he's just too busy with Ava and his treatment," Vicky said, struggling to find more excuses.

She thought it was odd too. Why didn't William just call? It wouldn't have taken long.

Brandon shrugged it off. "Anyway, I know now. As long as they're safe, that's what matters."

"Brandon, Ava's had the baby and William's treatment is working. He's starting to remember things. When should we tell him Ava is our cousin, part of the Smith family?" Vicky asked, suddenly worried.

Brandon frowned a bit. "We should tell him, but let's wait until they're back. William's still in treatment, and Ava just gave birth."

Vicky nodded. "Okay."

She then noticed something and sniffed the air. "Brandon, are you meeting someone important today? You look really sharp."

Brandon, looking like a serious older man in his suit, said, "I have a finance meeting. Lots of people will be there. Can't look shabby."

"Really?" Vicky leaned in and sniffed. "You even put on perfume. I thought you had a date."

"Can't I wear perfume? Only you can?" Brandon teased.

"Of course, you can," Vicky laughed. "Just saying, you look really handsome today."

Brandon said, "I'm heading out. Anything else?"

"Nope, you go ahead. I'll leave too," Vicky replied.
