Chapter 768 What a Dramatic Relationship

Hearing "remarry," Ava was momentarily stunned.

William, next to her, frowned slightly.

He hadn't expected Mia to suggest Ava remarry Alexander.

'The Mitchell family is nuts. Do they really want to hurt Ava more? They know she's my wife now. Mia's truly malicious!' William thought.

Mia waited for Ava's response.

Ava looked at William, remembering her promise not to divorce him.

Ava sighed, "I won't remarry Alexander. I'm William's wife now. Besides, Alexander doesn't want this child."

"How do you know he doesn't want it? Did he tell you?" Mia pressed.

Ava replied, "I saw him last night. I talked a lot at his door, but he ignored me. I told him to call me by 10 AM if he changed his mind, but he never did. His actions show he doesn't want this child."

Mia felt anxious. She started, "Ava, actually..."

William's cold gaze fell on Mia.

'Is she going to tell Ava that Alexander wasn't there last night? Why do the Mitchells always ruin my plans?' he thought.

William kept his composure, just staring at Mia.

He wanted to remember her face, remember how she tried to ruin his relationship with Ava.

He would get his revenge!

Mia looked at William, her eyes filled with complex emotions.

Ava saw Mia in a daze and asked, "Mom, what's wrong? What were you going to say?"

"Ava, if you think Alexander doesn't want this child, what are you planning to do? Would you regret keeping it?"

Ava said, "I don't regret it. Whether he wants this child or not, I'm its mother. I'll raise him. I won't force Alexander or look for him again."

"Have you really cut all ties with Alexander?"

"Yes. From the moment we divorced, it was over."

Mia bit her lip and glanced at William again.

Now, William and Ava were married, and William seemed to treat Ava well, even treating the child as his own.

Ava had divorced Alexander, who had hurt her before, leaving her for another woman.

He had repeatedly hurt her afterward.

Ava couldn't remarry Alexander; there was no point in them being entangled.

Since Alexander didn't cherish her from the start, Ava marrying William now seemed like fate.

More importantly, Ava went to find Alexander last night, but he wasn't there, possibly not hearing anything. Even fate wasn't helping them.

It seemed Alexander and Ava really shouldn't be together.

If she told Ava now that Alexander wasn't there and didn't hear anything about the child, Ava and Alexander would get entangled again. What would William do then?

He deeply loved Ava and would be heartbroken.

If she didn't know William was her child, Mia would have told Ava without hesitation.

But now, both were her children, and Mia felt distressed.

After weighing the pros and cons, she decided not to tell Ava that Alexander was missing.

After all, Alexander wasn't in danger, and he had called her, so she didn't need to worry.

And it was Alexander who didn't cherish Ava from the start, so it was unfair to fault William for taking advantage of the situation.

Thinking about her two sons loving the same woman, Mia felt this matter wasn't over yet.

'What a dramatic relationship,' she thought.

It felt like the love story of the previous generation was being replayed.
