Chapter 450 Remarrying with You

On the next day.

"William, no! No!"

Ava woke up from a nightmare.

She dreamt of William and Alexander fighting, with Alexander ultimately killing William.

The first thing she did upon rising from the bed was to check her phone, to see if William had called her.

It was still none.

After getting ready, Ava decided to go to William's company to find him, thinking he might be intentionally avoiding her calls.

As soon as Ava opened the door, she saw Alexander standing outside.

She was startled and was about to close the door when Alexander raised his hand to stop her. "Wait."

"Alexander, can you stop bothering me?"

At the break of dawn, he already made her feel disgusted.
"Ava, can't we have a civilized conversation? I've been waiting here since four in the morning, hesitant to disturb you, hence refrained from knocking on the door, hoping you would come out on your own. I had no intention to pressure you. Why can't we have a calm and rational discussion?"

Fatigue etched on Alexander's face. He had not slept the entire night.

"What is there left for us to discuss?" Ava, exhausted from the argument, had no energy to engage further. "I have matters to attend to now. I'm busy. Please leave."

"Where are you going?" Alexander asked coldly, his gaze suspiciously fixed on her. "Are you going to see William?"

"What's it to you? Move aside."

"You are going to see him."

Alexander pushed Ava against the wall. "Why do you care about him so much? I don't believe you're just friends."

"We are married," Ava sarcastically remarked. "Didn't I tell you we were already married and had the certificate?"

Alexander's fist hit the wall.

Ava was startled, her heart pounding violently.

Seeing the fear in her eyes, Alexander withdrew his hand, forcibly suppressing his anger. "I know you're mad at me. Can you divorce William?"

Ava realized she could no longer communicate with Alexander.

He was just too self-righteous.

"Come with me." Alexander grabbed her wrist and took her away.

"Where are you taking me? Let go of me."

Ignoring her resistance, Alexander forcefully put her in the car.

It was when they arrived at the Frontier Healthcare Center that Ava realized what Alexander intended to do.

The cardiovascular surgery department of this hospital was top-notch.

Since Isabella needed a heart transplant, she must be treated here. Alexander would ensure she received the best care.

Alexander tightly held Ava's hand and led her to Isabella's room.

"Alexander, have you lost your mind? What are you trying to do?"

"I'm taking you to see Isabella, to tell her who I love and to tell her I'm not marrying her."

"You said she was dying. You kept saying you would marry her. However, you broke your promise every time. Aren't you afraid she'll curse you to hell?"

"Let her come and take revenge on me. Anyway, I want to remarry you."

Ava never expected that one day Alexander would become so unreasonable.

Upon reaching the entrance of the hospital room, Alexander caught sight of Isabella being treated urgently by the doctors.
Clutching Ava's hand tightly, Alexander gazed at the intense scene unfolding within the room.
Ava turned to him, saying, "It seems she is truly on the brink of death. Are you really going to go in there and tell her you love me?"
Alexander hesitated, realizing the extent of his impulsiveness. Given Isabella's condition, if he were to express such sentiments to her, it would likely be fatal to her.
"Ava, please grant me a few days, all right? Isabella has only a few days left to live."
