Chapter 839 What Did They Talk About
"I love you, I really do!"
"Please don't leave me, I really love you. Why do you have to fall into his arms?"
The door to the ward suddenly got kicked open.
Alexander stormed in, looking all cold and serious.
Eason was jamming out, headphones on, eyes shut, totally lost in the music, not even noticing anyone coming in.
"You've finally become someone else's woman, and I've finally lost you!" Eason sang with all the feels.
Hearing those lyrics, Alexander's face twisted in a deep frown.
Singing this song right now? Man, Alexander's emotions were all over the place.
Alexander yanked the headphones off Eason's ears.
Eason jumped, almost screamed. Seeing Alexander, he blurted, "Why are you back? Didn't you leave?"
"You said you often chat with Ava. What are you talking about?"
Alexander didn't know why, but the more he thought about it, the more he couldn't let it go.
So, he came back.
After Ava divorced him, she met a bunch of guys.
But he got kicked out of her world.
Alexander thought, 'Why was everyone more important than him in Ava's heart? Even a brother she had no blood relation to?'
Their ten-year relationship ended because of one mistake he made, and they became strangers. Did she wish he were dead?'
Eason looked scared by Alexander's intense expression and stammered, "Why do you care what we talk about? What does it have to do with you? You and Ava are divorced; You have nothing to do with each other!"
Alexander suddenly lunged forward, pinning him on the bed, gripping his shoulders, his eyes almost devouring. "What exactly are you talking about? Tell me! Or else I won't play nice!"
He just never used his power to oppress anyone, but that didn't mean he couldn't!
Madison saw this scene at the door of the ward and was terrified. She quickly walked in, "Mr. Mitchell, please don't do that."
"Get out of the way, it's none of your business!" Alexander's eyes were wide with anger, bloodshot.
Madison was so frightened she took several steps back.
Eason swallowed hard. "You scared me.. Fine, I'll tell you!"
Eason added, "Release me first."
Alexander suppressed his anger, released him, stood up straight, and adjusted his suit jacket.
Eason picked up the phone beside him, flipped through the Facebook chat history, and then handed it to Alexander.
"I'll give it to you, but you can't tell Ava that I showed you our chat history. It's very private. If she finds out, she'll be mad at both of us."
Alexander snatched his phone and looked through the chat history.
To prevent Eason from deceiving him, he even checked the phone number information.
It was indeed Ava's number; this couldn't be faked. The profile picture was still Ava's original picture, unchanged.
Alexander thought, 'She couldn't even bear to change her profile picture, so how did she get a new husband so quickly after the divorce?'
Alexander knew he had no right to be angry. He was the one who betrayed her and asked for the divorce. He thought Ava didn't love him, so he let her go, only to realize he had made the stupidest decision in the world.
They loved each other so much, but because they didn't express their feelings, it led to such a huge regret.
But he couldn't help but feel pain, sadness, and even anger.
Even if God gave him a little more time, before she married William, things might not have turned out this way.
Alexander thought, 'Why does there have to be a William?'
