Chapter 381 Genius Brother

Eason lightly scratched his head, a shy smile playing on his lips. "Over the summer vacation, I had the opportunity to learn some medical skills from an experienced doctor. This has enabled me to recognize certain symptoms. When I helped you up just now, I noticed signs that suggested you might be pregnant."

Ava furrowed her brow in confusion. "How could you possibly know I'm pregnant? Is there something distinctive?"

She was utterly bewildered. If she hadn't witnessed it firsthand, she would never have believed that a young boy could possess such medical acumen, let alone accurately deduce her pregnancy.

"Wait here for a moment," Eason said, his mind whirring with thoughts. "Could you take a few steps for me?"

Curiosity piqued, Ava complied, pacing a few steps as Eason watched attentively.

Eason scrutinized Ava's movements before elucidating, "Pregnant women have a distinct walk. You might not notice it, but your posture, gait, and overall walking style have subtly changed. Pregnant women often appear slightly clumsy in their movements and instinctively protect their bellies..." With each observation, Eason patiently explained his deductions to Ava.

Ava listened with rapt attention, occasionally glancing up to study Eason's earnest expression. It dawned on her that he was nothing short of a genius.

"Additionally, frequent fatigue and sleepiness could also indicate pregnancy," Eason added.

Ava nodded, awestruck. "You're amazing. You can tell that I'm pregnant just like that."

Eason helped Ava back to her seat. "In truth, I'm merely testing my knowledge. It's not always accurate, especially considering my youth and limited experience."

"How old are you, then?" Ava asked.

"I'm eighteen."

"You're already an adult, not a child. I think you're a genius," Ava declared. She was impressed by Eason's intelligence, particularly given his tender age and extensive medical knowledge.

Eason responded with a bashful smile. "I do have a slightly higher IQ than average, but there's still so much I need to learn."

Who wouldn't be drawn to such a humble, intelligent, and handsome young man?

Ava smiled warmly, saying, "It's wonderful that you think that way. You're only eighteen; your life is just beginning. The world has so much knowledge to offer."

"I understand. I'll certainly study diligently. After all, there are many people smarter than me. I'm not unique in that regard," Eason replied.

Ava admired him silently, thinking, "He's truly a humble and good-natured boy."

It was not uncommon for individuals who excel slightly to become arrogant and self-important. Humility was indeed a commendable trait. While excessive humility could be detrimental, arrogance was equally undesirable.

"So, are you currently enrolled in school?" Ava asked.

"I've already graduated from college."

"College graduate," Ava exclaimed, giving him a thumbs up. "You really are a genius."

"Miss, please don't keep praising me. I might start blushing," Eason said, his cheeks turning a shade of pink.

Ava couldn't resist the urge to pinch his blushing cheeks. He was simply too adorable. His presence had significantly brightened her mood.

"You're only eighteen. What are your plans after college graduation?"

"I'm planning to pursue my PhD," Eason replied.

Ava nodded mechanically, instantly regretting her previous words.
