Chapter 659 Name Your Price
It was quite tragic after thinking about it carefully. When she was kidnapped, her ex-husband was marrying the other woman.
After a while, Ava wanted to use the bathroom. But after walking into the bathroom, she looked around, then backed out and closed the door. She didn't dare to use the toilet because she was afraid there might be surveillance.
Just as she came out, a voice came from the speaker. "Are you worried I installed cameras in the bathroom?"
Ava didn't respond, but her silence was a testament to what was on her mind.
"If you don't want to go, then just hold it."
"Did you install cameras in the bathroom or not?" Ava was very annoyed.
'This damn pervert!'
"I don't know, I forgot. If you're worried, just don't go."
"You..." Ava was a bit angry; he was clearly tormenting her.
Even if she could hold it, it wouldn't be good for her unborn baby.
Ava couldn't care anymore. In a fit of anger, she got up and walked to the bathroom.
She closed the door.
'What is there to be afraid of? Since he doesn't feel disgusted, why should I fear?' she thought.
After using the bathroom, Ava came out and lay on the bed, covering her head with the blanket, wrapping herself tightly, and sulking alone.
Alexander was furious, and the floor was covered with shards. Everyone kept their heads down, not daring to speak.
They had finally found the place where Ava was being held, but when they got there, they found the kidnappers dead and Ava missing.
It must have been someone even more terrifying who took Ava away, yet they still hadn't figured out who it was.
"How could you not find a single clue? What use are you?"
They had taken the bullets from the dead bodies for examination, but no useful clues turned up. There were no fingerprints at the scene either. The person who took Ava seemed to have vanished, or perhaps never existed.
This only proved that the person possessed exceptional skills in evading detection.
Felix cautiously walked over.
Isabella called to inquire about Alexander, but Felix didn't dare say much, and he didn't dare tell Alexander either. After all, Alexander was in a fit of rage and certainly not in the mood to take a phone call.
By comparison, Ava was undoubtedly more important, especially considering that Alexander had given up his wedding for Ava.
No one dared to speak. The silence was terrifying, as oppressive as a deathly stillness that made it hard to breathe.
At this moment, Felix's phone suddenly rang.
It was an unknown number. He answered the call. "Hello."
A cold voice came from the other end. "Let Alexander answer the phone."
Felix frowned and asked, "Who are you?"
"Let Alexander answer the phone," the voice repeated.
Hearing the cold voice, Felix felt something amiss, so he told Alexander. "Mr. Mitchell, someone wants you to answer the phone, but he won't say who he is."
Alexander snatched the phone from Felix's hand and put it to his ear. "Who are you?"
"Ava is in my hands."
Alexander's expression changed instantly. He immediately asked, "Who are you? How much money do you want? Just name your price."
"Hahaha," the other person laughed. "Rich people are really annoying. All you talk about is money, it's so vulgar. Can't you think bigger? Do kidnappers always have to want money?"
"So what do you want then?" Alexander almost roared.
