Chapter 477 If You Love Me

She handed the clothes to Ava. "Do you want to take a shower first? Here are the clothes. If you need anything, just let me know, and I'll get it for you."

Ava took the clothes and glanced at them, finding nothing missing. "Thank you."

"Don't be polite with me. We are friends."

Ava weakly smiled and followed Vicky to the bathroom.

Soon, the sound of running water could be heard from the bathroom.

Vicky thought that Ava must have taken off her clothes.

She took a towel and went to the door, knocking on it.

Ava's voice came from inside the bathroom. "What's up?"

Vicky said, "I forgot to give you the towel. Can I come in?"

Ava said, "Wait a moment, I'll come out to get it."

"Don't bother," Vicky said, "You wash up. I'll come in and give it to you so you won't catch a cold. After all, we are both girls. There is no need to worry."

"Alright." Ava did not refuse.

Vicky opened the door and walked into the bathroom. Ava was standing under the shower with a graceful figure that was very attractive.

Vicky walked slowly towards her and hung the towel close to Ava, within her reach.

"I'll hang the towel here."

Ava nodded. "Okay."

Before leaving, Vicky's gaze lingered on Ava's back for about ten seconds.

Noticing Vicky hadn't left, Ava turned her head and asked, "What's wrong? Do you need anything else?"

Vicky shook her head. "Nothing, take your time."

After Vicky left the bathroom and closed the door, she went to the living room and sat on the sofa, her heart beating rapidly.

She picked up the phone beside her and sent a message to Brandon
Vicky: [Uncle, I have seen it now. Indeed, as you described, there is a red mole.It is not perfectly round, somewhat resembling a diamond shape, quite small.]
Shortly after, Brandon replied.
Brandon: [Understood.]
It was late at night.
The hospital corridor was exceptionally quiet, with only the duty nurses making their rounds left in the ward area.

A bodyguard stood at the door of William's ward. A nurse approached with a medical tray and said, "I'm here to check the patient's condition."

The bodyguard stepped aside, opened the door, and the nurse smoothly entered the ward.

She quickly checked and found nothing unusual.

Afterward, she replaced William's urinary catheter, then approached the bedside, carefully retrieving a syringe.
Casting a glance towards the door, she timed it precisely, swiftly rolling William over, positioning him on his side, lifting his hospital gown, and plunging the needle deep into his back.
Once all the medication in the syringe had been injected, she withdrew the needle.

Everything happened quickly. The whole process took less than two minutes.

When the bodyguard came in to check, he saw the nurse covering William with a blanket. The numbers on the monitoring machine were stable, showing no abnormalities.

The nurse took the urinary bag and left.

Seeing that William was fine, the bodyguard closed the door and continued to guard outside.

The next morning, Ava woke up from a nightmare. "William!"

She dreamt that William was waving goodbye to her, saying he was going to a faraway place and would never come back.

Finally, he said to her, "I love you."

In the dream, Ava desperately hugged him, crying uncontrollably, not letting him go. However, his body was getting farther away.

She was stuck in place, unable to keep up with his steps, only able to watch him disappear. She was in so much pain, almost dying.

Opening her eyes, she realized it was all a dream.

Although it was just a dream, everything felt so real again. William was still lying in the hospital bed.

Ava thought, 'William, as long as you wake up, I'm willing to do anything, whatever you ask me to do.'

'If you love me, I'm willing to.'
